Skin sets and map interaction?
So I was thinking about those pesky project skins... of which I have no real interest in buying but....
They affect things on the map right?
I remember seeing a team of five of them and immediately thinking "Wow I wish the entire enemy side was all cyber-spacey"
Then I stopped for a second...
arcade skins, Battlecast skins, Debonair skins, There are tons of skins that have enough for a full team comp.
Creating a "Map" skin, which would replace half of the map's graphics with custom skin styled graphics....
Battlecast could be a junkyard theme, where monsters are scrap monsters, and trees are rubbish piles
Arcade would be a graphical downgrade to an 8-bit style
Project could be a cyberpunk style (Megaman battle network?)
There could be other skin topics such as void, pool party, winter sports, holiday, ect.
Of course this would be a lot of work but I think this would be a nice touch up and would encourage team buying, which would mean encouraging pre made teams and more sales!
Here's how i would envision it,
Various skins could each have a "Precent change" feature, after two skins in the same set are in we can see infividual features change, Starting with ground texture, jungle walls, jungle creeps, turret structure, and inhib/nexus structure
Anyone else ever think about this?
