[Champion Concept] Dawna, The Vengeful Huntress
Hi. This is an old concept of mine, but it's my favorite ADC concept. I put quite a bit of work into her. I'm just copying and pasting her from the Forum Archives into the new forums. I hope you enjoy it!
Dawna is a Ranged ADC who wields a bow and arrow.
LORE: Considered an angel with her beautiful glowing wings, and long, perfect, brown hair, Dawna was never one to be violent. However, this changed when she and a man were summoned in a forest, each with two weapons. The forest was sealed with magic by a mysterious mage, and he said that this was a "game," and that the magical barrier would only open whenever one of the two people in the forest was dead. Dawna got a Bow and Arrow, and her "opponent" got a shield and sword. The forest was deep and dark, and they were summoned at least a 2 days walk away from each other. Dawna spent the first few hours crying for help, but soon realized her cries were in vain. She then realized she had to become vicious, training hard hour after hour, mastering that bow of hers. At night, she found comfort by looking up in the sky and staring at the brightest star she could find, which was always in the same place every night. After 5 days, Dawna became a master with her bow, and she was a force to be reckoned with for anyone. On the 5th night, Dawna heard trees rustle, and saw bushes shake. She grabbed her bow, and shot the only arrow she had on her in a bush, but it hit nothing. Just then, her opponent jumped from behind her, tore her wings assunder with his sword, and jumped in a tree. Agonizing in pain, Dawna ran for her quiver. The man she was fighting against was fast, and seemed to move with shadows. He struck her multiple times with his sword, drawing blood each time. After finally getting her arrows, Dawna shot 4 volleys, making a circle around her. The man fell to the ground with 3 arrows in his chest. Dawna won the "game," but she will not rest until she gets revenge on whoever it was who forced her to kill an innocent man, blackening what used to be her clear soul.
Attack Range: 575
MOVEKIT: Passive: Adaptation - Whenever Dawna uses a skill, she will receive a buff called "Adaptation." This buff will make each of her auto attacks have additional effects for 3 seconds based on the skill she last used. (8 second cooldown)
Q: Trustworthy Star - On activate, Dawna summons a star to be fired in a straight line. It will be fired in the same direction of her next auto attack. The range of the star is a little longer than her auto attack range. Enemies who are hit by the star will take 50/70/90/110/130 (+.5 AP) magic damage, and will be snared for .25/.5/.75/1/1.25 seconds. ADAPTATION (Q) : Poison Arrow - Dawna's next auto attacks will deal 50/70/90/110/130 extra magic damage over 2 seconds.
W: Survival of the Fittest - Dawna charges up for .5 seconds, unable to move. She then gains a movement speed buff of 50/55/60/65/70% for 3.5 seconds. ADAPTATION (W) : Icy Arrow - Dawna's next auto attacks will slow the enemy by 10/15/20/25/30% for 1 second.
E: Ambush: SOAR - Dawna summons her magical wings, and floats for a max of 3.5 seconds (can still be hit, and can still take damage). During this time, Dawna cannot move from right clicking. During this time, Dawna can shoot 3 waves of energy as skill shots, each dealing 10/20/30/40/50 (+AD) magic damage to every unit they pass through. Each wave fired will send Dawna flying back a short ways (similar to Cait Net), and each wave's range will increase by the amount she flies back. Waves have a .5 second cooldown between each fire. After using all 3 waves, or after 3.5 seconds, Dawna will land back on her feet. ADAPTATION (E) : Soaring Arrow - Dawna's next auto attacks will have a range of 675 for 2.5 seconds.
R: Rapid Hit - Dawna will flip backward a range of 100, then quickly shoot 3 arrows in a line at a range of 1000, each dealing 50/75/100 (+AD) Physical Damage to enemies they pass trough, then flip to the right at a range of 100, and fire 5 more arrows in the same direction as the max range of the 3 arrows, at a range of 1300, each dealing 10/20/30 (+AD) physical damage to enemies they pass through. You may choose where to fire the skill shot with the targeting animation BEFORE you activate the skill, but you must keep in mind that you do jump back before you fire the skill, making the skill have quite a skill cap. ADAPTATION (R) : Explosive Arrow - Dawna's next auto attacks will explode when they hit their target, dealing an additional 90/120/150 Physical Damage to the enemy it hits, as well as surrounding enemies. Lasts 3 seconds.
Quotes: I imagine Dawna's voice soft and calm, yet deep and firm.
Moving: Agreed. With agility. I will go. The star shall guide me. Inner strength is outer beauty. I'll lead a soaring victory. What must be done... I can... I will... I must!
Attacking: I will NEVER rest. The deed must be done! My revenge is near. You'll regret what you've done. Don't underestimate me! I shall fight. You can run, but you can't hide. I have my reasons!! Your death will not be in vain.! Prepare yourself!
Taunting: I will either find a path, or make one! Angel is just a fancy way of saying KILLER.
When using (E) Ambush : SOAR: Soar!!! My wings!!! Try this!!!
On activating (Q) Trustworthy Star: My light! Guide me! Not a chance!
Joke: I'll just try and....(tries and flap her torn wings, hovering above the ground) wing it.! (Falls to the ground.) Ugh... A few holes can be a good thing too! (tries and flap her torn wings, hovering above the ground, then falls.) ...Never mind...
