Warning before your team can ban a champion you are hovering

I've had this happen so many times. People don't check their teams' hovers, and they just ban whatever they want to ban, not realizing that their teammate wants to play that particular champion. So before you can ban a champion that your team wants to play, can there be a warning message that shows up? Saying like WARNING: Your teammate wants to play this champion! Are you sure you want to ban it? Or something like that...

Yes, please, i really like this idea.

And as for time running out, perhaps only show the warning if the champion has been selected before the start of your ban timer. This way it's impossible to troll someone by hovering champion they're about to ban, but purely serves as a warning, to make sure that whoever bans teammate's champion did that intentionally.

It depends on the position of the player though. Last pick wants to play a popular and OP (perceived or not) champion that I want to ban? Sorry good chance they are not going to get that champion anyways so I am banning it. If first pick wants to play someone I want to ban I won't ban it.

nah, if you only have 7 sec left to ban and you ban a champ on you team and get this message now you might dodge because now your looking for someone new to ban

Oh god, I feel guilty for this. I have a habbit of banning Lee Sin, Udyr, Rengar and Braum (Not because they're OP, I just dislike them so much). So I just rush and ban one of them when it's my turn. And a few times I banned them when my team mates wanted to play them. ;; Because I get distracted very easily. I sometimes ban the champion I want play because I confuse the bans with champion selects ;; ... But thankfully, I always play with my friends so, most of the time I ban my friends' champion and they ban mine in return. Or they just know I'm a dumbass and mock me for it and play something else. But, once I did it to a stranger, so I felt bad and dodged.

If I'm banning I usually go by this rule: Let's say our top laner hasn't picked a champ. I won't ban any known top laner like Illaoi, Garen, Susan. If I see I'm support you already know yaboi is banning the fuck outta Blitzcrank, Karma mains fo lyfe.

No thanks. I know exactly what I'm doing. It's no accident that I banned your hovered vayne or shaco,

I intentionally ban the team mates champion sometimes when i feel they had no regards for the team composition and they just wanna play a popular champion not realizing that the team doesnt support its gameplay for example when ezreal was extremelly popular i often banned him because it made no sense to pick him, and every time he wasnt banned by someone else i regreted having to support him. I loved killing him on the enemy team though.

Good idea but theres a troll thing that will likely happen.... "oh your going to ban this champ? Let me choose them so you are more likely to have time run out." Might discourage the fiddling around in the banning proccess at least.

Yep. This need to happen ASAP. I myself hover over champions I want to ban for a few seconds just in case someone speaks up and says "WAIT I ACTUALLY WANT TO PLAY THAT", anyway.

While it does sound nice, I think it's up to the player to make sure they don't so that. It's like taking smite.

If I see you hovering a champ that wont help the team or your match history indicates you're horrible on them... it's getting banned.

The amount of times I try to play Volibear or Darius only to have my braindead idiot teammates ban them really kills the entire game for me.

Get on it, Rito.
