love sarcasm.

But seriously folks, do you buy skins on champs if you suck at them?

Honestly want to know.

Yeah, I've bought skins for champions I suck at. Oftentimes though I'd actually train myself up to get better as them, but either way - it's better to look good and feel cool even while failing than to just use stock skins, IMO.

people buy skins on champs because they like the look of the skin, nothing else. It doesn't mean they are good, it doesn't mean they will carry. It only means they wanted to change the look of the champion they wanted to play.

Yup, why not?

Anyway it could come from mystery skins.

Yes. I buy a skin for every champ that I'm at least minimally proficient with.

I buy skins for champs that I have fun playing. Usually this means I'm decent at them, but not all the time.

Keep in mind, riot does occasionally gift skins for good behaviour; I've gotten Aether Wing Kayle and Pre-Void Kassadin from them on this account alone. People get mystery skin gifts from friends - this has given me over half my champ pool across 4 accounts. And mystery skins you buy personally. I'm a shitty udyr, I was gifted udyr and bought a mystery skin @ 490RP last year, got Spirit Guard.
