Short Bio:

A weapons collector who believes you can only truly appreciate a weapon if you master it. Originally a swordsman so he carries his sword along with whatever weapon he fancies. Believes you should only wield one weapon at a time but finds beauty in synergy between weapons. Comes to the Summoner’s Rift in hopes of finding new weapons to add to his collection.

Goal:

Introduce mechanic that acts as Jayce (R) and Riven (Q). The champion will have access to 6 abilities, most of which that can combo, and a swapping ability for their R. This is to put in another combo-based champion who will have more combos and unique abilities open in exchange for losing an Ultimate. Players will have a choice to make between 3 options at the beginning of every game which will dictate how the champion will be played. This will add to the champion’s versatility and ability to adapt.

Champion Name: Tubi (xD)

Kit:

Basic Name: Melee

Main Weapon: Short sword. (ex. 125) 2nd Weapon Option 1: Longsword. Range = little longer than main. (ex. 150) 2nd Weapon Option 2: Greataxe. Range = longer than main. (ex. 175) 2nd Weapon Option 3: Spear. Range = much longer than main. (ex. 200)

Resource: None

Passive: [

Tubi gains a stack for every time Tubi successfully damages an enemy champion with the empowered damage from R. Tubi gains bonus stats that scales with the stacks depending on the weapon. Longsword = CDR. Greataxe = Health. Spear = Attack Speed. (Scales worse with more stacks similar to Bard)

Tubi’s spells reset Tubi’s auto attack timer.

Q: (Main)

Passive: Animation speed scales with total Attack Speed; for both Main and Secondary.

First Active: A quick stab forward dealing damage.

2nd Active: A quick spinning slash in place.

Player has option to swap weapons at this stage. Swapping will skip to the last Q active for that particular weapon. Swapping weapons mid Q will put Q on cooldown. Can weave in different spells in between Q actives as time allows.

3rd Active: Short dash in a direction dealing damage to all in its way. Cannot dash walls.

Q: (Longsword)

First Active: Same as short sword but longer reach.

2nd Active: Same but wider range.

3rd Active: Sword slash in a direction dealing damage to all caught in it. Slash creates shockwave that deals damage until it reaches the end of its range. Those caught by the range of the sword is pushed into just outside its range; gets hit by both sword and shockwave damage.

Q: (Greataxe)

First Active: Swings from right to left dealing damage; deals much less damage to those that are not hit by the Axe part of the swing.

2nd Active: Jumps up and swings the Greataxe down with full force. Deals a big AoE damage and stuns those caught in the center.

Q: (Spear)

First Active: Quick jab forward dealing damage.

2nd Active: Quickly stabs 5 times in a cone dealing damage. Slows all hit by it. If hit by all 5 stabs, enemy champions are dealt bleed damage for a portion of total damage done by this 2nd active.

W: (Main)

Passive: Basic attacks against enemy champions grant Tubi bonus attack speed. Stacks up to 4 times and last for 4 seconds. Does not gain additional stacks when wielding secondary weapon.

Active: Immediately grants max stacks and doubles the bonus attack speed for a short duration. Passive goes on cooldown with the active.

W: (Secondary)

Active: Stabs their weapon on the ground in front of Tubi.

Longsword: Grants Tubi a small shield and the sword itself absorbs all projectiles that hits it within a very small window; like Braum shield but only big enough for one average sized champion and immoveable. Can swap weapons during this time; longsword will remain on the ground for that very short duration and will disappear afterwards.

Greataxe: Knocks back enemies around him to the minimum distance of his Axe range of the first Q active. The ground affected becomes worked for a period of time. The ground is worked to Tubi’s advantage and as such, damage dealt to Tubi on this ground is reduced. If Tubi works another ground and overlaps with an existing worked ground, both lose their “worked” effect.

Spear: Fears the enemy surround enemies into dropping their weapons. Those affected are disarmed and Tubi’s next basic attack crits. (Disarm = no basic attacks/spells based on basic attacks).

E: (Main)

Active: Quickly dashes a short distance in a direction. Cooldown is reduced for every Q that successfully deals damage to an enemy champion within a short period after the E. Cannot dash walls.

E: (Secondary)

Active: Same as Main but can dash walls and has an additional effect based on weapon.

Longsword = cleaves at the end of dash dealing AoE damage unless it is used to wall hop; Greataxe = slows and damages all hit by the dash, and dash ranged is halved + cannot hop walls; and Spear = dashes spear first dealing bonus true damage.

R: Swap

Passive: Starts with one point in R at level 1 and cannot put anymore points in it after. Player must choose one secondary weapon between 3 options: Longsword, Greataxe, and Spear; you cannot change secondary weapon once you pick one. Each secondary weapon has their own unique Q, basic attack range and bonus stats Tubi receives when wielding the weapon.

Passive: (Longsword) Basic attacks deal splash damage to a very small range and gains bonus Attack Damage based on bonus AD and CDR.

Passive: (Greataxe) Base attack speed is lowered but base attack damage is increased. Gains bonus Movement Speed based on bonus AD and Health.

Passive: (Spear) Basic attacks pierce a short distance and gains bonus Armor Penetration based on bonus AD and AtkSpd.

Active: Swaps weapons. Swapping weapons empowers the next damaging spell/ability, dealing bonus damage and grants Tubi a small burst of movement speed.

Idea Behind the Kit:

Offer flexibility and versatility without compromising the champion and its gameplay. Longsword offers more unique combinations using both weapons however it is harder to master and damage depends on it; falls under the Fighter/Bruiser category. Greataxe offers more crowd control however loses mobility wielding this weapon; falls under the Juggernaut category. Spear offers the potential of high damage however it is dependant on items and thus Tubi loses out on survivability; falls under Duelist category. The viability of the champion will depend mostly on the player and their mastery of the champion; should be able to survive in an unfavorable meta in the hands of the right player.
