How to you choose when you use a kindlebug?

As PalPlays said, 5 seconds is way too long for a channel. Look at Sion's Q - it only goes for 2 seconds, and it's pretty easy to dodge in that time. Anything you're aiming at will be long gone after you're half-charged. It needs to be shortened.

Would an ammo system be better, then? o-o'' The skill has incredible range; its meant to be something like a finisher or some kind of jungle nuke. Should it be changed to function off of kindlebugs, instead of seconds?

Yeah, I think it should function off kindlebugs. Like I said, it's a really cool idea! I'm kind of picturing this champion as the Rift Scuttler crossed with the aesthetics of the Bramblebacks. Basically a fiery Rift Scuttler.

Thats fair x3 i was picturing some kind of totemic yordle who lived in the kumungu jungle. His kindlebugs could TOTALLY be flaming scuttlebugs though!

I love the idea, but I have a few thoughts on it.

His W doesn't make any sense. Is it a projectile? What are Flechettes? A five second channel for a projectile is ridiculous, if it is a projectile at all.

How do you choose when to use a kindlebug or not?

Where do you see this champion being played? Jungle, top, support?

Flechettes are small, needle like projectiles packed into a larger projectile. Essentially theyre dart-shotgun kind of things. His W is a projectile; Each second of channeling increases the damage by a great deal, because youre adding one additional ball. Each ball contains 5 flechettes, making the actual damage 40/45/50/55/60+0.5AP multiplied by up to 5 times.

Kindlebugs are like rage, so, you dont actually get to choose.

I see torchbug being played in the mid lane or the jungle (His W is great for the jungle. As is his E). He could support or top, i suppose, but he deals relatively small amounts of damage without set up.

Wow i havent looked at this in ages. Still a pretty solid concept, too... Changed some things on the W for this bump though.
