Being the most OP thing riot has ever saw, and only finding out until some pro pulled Olaf out and was 1v4'ing.

That was back when he didn't lose durability during it, meaning he was almost unkillable once he got a few items. Now you can counter his ult by well, killing him. He loses a large amount of durability with it.

They had to rework his kit because of how OP he was.

I don't think Morgana can 1v4 that effectively. Her Q can only hit one person, her W is a pool that can be walked out of, and her ult... her ult is decent, but the warning it gives allows a lot of room for, well, avoiding it. Morgana isn't a duelist, she's an AoE utility mage.

It's like potatoes and bananas. They both got skins, but do they go in the same dishes?

That's like saying 70% damage reduction will not be OP on anyone since Alistar is balanced. The same mechanic can be fine on one champion and not on another.

Morgana has an ultimate level CC immunity on an eight seccond CD... 13 if you dont buy CDR.

morgana's black shield can be broken through with a few spells, not olaf's and still the biggest problem with olaf was that he basically had darius ult on a 3 second cooldown late game with his 340 true damage nuke with no scaling, so he just went full tank and had crazy amounts of damage to anything that got in range of him

That, and he loses his armor/magic resist passive, meaning he will block off all CC, but became even squishier in return.

Actually...it was due to many things in his kit (Q damage, using his W and getting health pack when hitting a Q). With the lifesteal he had he could sustain through almost anything. A big thing was that warmogs was grossly overpowered with him. It synergized extremely well with Olaf and made him extremely powerful.

I love Olaf but it's a shame he was nerfed into oblivion for a while because of an item (Warmogs) that made him unkillable. Glad to see him back in play. Toplof will rule again :3
