Soft Visual Update (Kindred)

I'm not knowledgeable on the state of Kindred in the meta, but I feel a soft visual update would do them justice. Here's how I would go about it:

  • Create a physical form for Wolf and a spiritual form for lamb that follows.

  • Allow the player to toggle between the forms as they please. (like the way we can put a mask on Kaisa or even just by clicking the passive icon.)

  • Q would remain the same. (If you're in Wolf's form, it's just a different animation.)

  • W would remain the same. (If you're in Wolf's form, its just a different animation.)

  • E would remain the same. (If you're in Wolf's form, its just a different animation.)

  • R will remain the same except... In the center, they are stealth-ed for 1 second. Then both forms of Wolf and Lamb will appear. Whichever form you are not will mirror your movements on the opposite side of the circle (including your autos) --but the other Kindred will not actually do any damage.

It's mostly to give the aesthetic of playing Kindred and not just "Lamb with floating wolf head."

Thoughts?

I don't know about that particularly, That seems like it's just adding a bunch of visual clutter to otherwise clear moves and playing. Just to point out this too though, wolf BITES. Lamb's arrow is for those who accept death's embrace, wolf gnarls and chews people who refuse, so wolf can't be ranged in the sake of what you were describing visually, it doesn't make sense lore wise.

lastly, due to the previous mentioning of wolf's attacks, W and E wouldn't be able to work the same, due to wolf needing to be melee range, If you want a Nunu, you'll have to make it, What would probably happen is kindred would become kinda like Nidalee, is now, with ranged auto and a close all in burst. I always pictured Wolf to be an assassin anyway.

It's not a bad idea to unite them to better suit the duality the champion was meant to represent, but that would require a form of rework on a new champion when we can focus on champions like Fiddlesticks and Volibear, who I'm still waiting for the new CRITTLE STICKS!!
