DotA 2 has more than one Champion with a Voodoo vibe, and Warcraft and Diablo are not shy at all about the practice. Yet League so far has not had any Champion with a Voodoo element in it outside of that Maokai skin.
What's up with that? Is there something about Voodoo that's taboo to the Chinese?

There's still one skin that shows some semblance of bones and I'm not going to say what it is for the fear of Riot changing the skin.

That's because Chinese players sent Blizzard a bunch of files that allowed them to skin over anything showing bones.
Blizzard refused due to artistic standards.
