[Champion Concept] Nyby-Arpent, Guise of the Void

Melee Control

Passive - In Plain Sight: Nyby-Arpent's portrait will glow upon level up, and every few minutes or on killing/assisting a kill on an enemy champion after reaching level 18. Clicking on it's glowing portrait will cause it to take on the appearance of a nearby target champion and temporarily gain their attack range. The Guise is broken after Nyby-Arpent takes a large amount of damage, or it's Guise target is killed.

Q - Grotesque Visage: Nyby-Arpent changes into a horrifying Thing for a second, causing all enemies around it to Flee.

  • If it was in a Guise, the Guise is broken and it's next 3 basic attacks will deal true damage.

W - Spread the Void - Passive: Nyby-Arpent stores an Egg charge periodically, up to a maximum of 3 at once.

Active: Nyby-Arpent will lay an Egg at a target location, that will take time to incubate. If an enemy champion gets within range of the incubated Egg, an untargetable Void Horror will chase down the enemy and will latch onto the target. It will begin to deal magic damage to that enemy for several seconds, any damage dealt heals Nyby-Arpent for a small percent. Other enemy champions may attack the Void Horror while it is attached to a target.

  • If it was in a Guise, the Guise is broken and the Void Horror will take on the appearance of that champion, once it hatches.

E - Symbiosis: Nyby-Arpent can latch onto a target allied champion, absorbing a percent of the damage they take, for a few seconds. While attached, Nyby-Arpent can cast a copy of their allies basic abilities.

  • If it was in a Guise, the Guise is broken but, their ally takes on the Guise, while Nyby-Arpent is attached to them.

R - Turnabout: If Nyby-Arpent is outside of a Guise, it will turn into a random champion on the map, and around it, spawn 4 other copies of random champions on the map, who all begin to run in a random direction away from the cast location. They only last a few seconds before disappearing.

  • If Nyby-Arpent uses this ability while in a Guise, it will cast a copy of that champion's ultimate.

I like the theme of him being the boggey man creature of the summoners rift.

His abilities on their own are very thematical, which i like.

His R and his guise mechanic are my only issues because of the "copy mechanic"

if his ult was spawn 4 random clones of himself, traveling to random location for 30 seconds, after disappearing they will leave an Egg. Clones cannot attack and have 50% of Nyby Max HP, They grant vision.

the untargetable void horror is probable the scariest thing about him, if you can work something out with that he could be interesting to play and see.

But the Copy mechanics has to be removed, from a design, gameplay and coding point of view, it will not work. unless it like a minion or a jungle camp monster.
