Hey, boards! Here's a skin concept for Anivia that I made. Fire always seemed like a no-brainer theme for the ol' bird (maybe a bit too obvious, I agree) and I thought I'd give it a go, twas a lot of fun! I also did my best to include more wip/ process shots since a good number of people seemed to be interested in my workflow.

Every few centuries, the molten goddess rises from her volcanic nest to bathe the world in her purifying fire. She blazes across the horizon, burning all without discrimination and leaving nothing but flaming wastes in her wake, before she returns to the volcano to rest again, until the next purge.

Some elders say the obsidian shards are animated by the spirit of an ancient princess, thrown into the volcano as a sacrifice and returned for vengeance against all that lives. Others believe her the instrument of an insane god, bent on punishing all mortals through fire and brimstone. Whatever her purpose may be, with every cycle, her rests grow briefer, and the people dread the day when she ends her slumber for good.

It's beautiful. I especially liked the design of the egg. (I actually liked some of your other flame designs better than those you chose though.)

Quick question, what program do you use to make these. My only qualm is that the walls hitbox might be a bit deceiving/buggy (even though it's my favorite party admittedly).

Yes this skin is beautiful and exactly what she needs to fit the lore of a Phoenix. As some one who loves Phoenixes and has been maining Anivia since Season 3, I'd buy this skin instantly day 1. You could even make this an ultimate level skin and I'll gladly drop $20-30 for this skin. Great work with this, I really hope this at least gets noticed by Riot.

Either they need to make this a skin, or they need to use this to make another phoenix champion.

Sometimes I wonder why riot doesnt swallow their pride and hire these obviously talented individuals that deserve a place to express their creativity.

10/10 whoever designed this is more talented than the VAST majority of riot designers.

You should apply for a job at Riot. This is amazing. You've single-handedly created a skin that's better than some of the skin that are made by a large team of people all collaborating together to push out something impressive.

would be amazing but it would have to be either a legendary or a ultimate. since she already has a legendary fire anivia will probably not happen for 5+ years or if she will be the first to get multiple legendarys

it would have to be a ultimate with the idea of anivia working to gain "perfect" phoenix form. she starts off as a feathery bird then works her way to full on fiery phoenix mode

Maybe make the floating shards of her W a little more closely grouped together, so that it's clearly a wall that blocks movement?

Why don't you call it Phoenix Anivia? It'd be a nice pun as she's supposed to be the Criophoenix :^)

This is really gorgeous :), but I do have one question. Are you thinking this could be a legendary skin because Anivia has some freljord related quotes like " I am the snow, wind, and ice"? That quote wouldn't make sense for a bird of fire. Other than that, it's amazing.

This is the best skin I have seen. Better than any in the game atm. Would pay anything for this skin and only play Anivia for the rest of my life with this skin!!!
