Gatekeeper Karma

Darkrown··296 votes·19,220 views

Hi boards! Here's a skin concept I've been working on for a while now for Karma. I know Karma has a loaaaad of skins compared to some champions who have been waiting for a really long time, but as a hardcore Karma player I'm still dreaming of the day she'll get her first legendary skin, and I'd love for it to be a dark/evil themed skin. Gatekeeper seemed like a good fit since new Galio's wings kinda look like Karma's back ornaments to me, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Anyway, thanks for looking! Hope you like this idea and if you have any feedback to share, feel free to drop it below, I'm always open to critique. Cheers~

This would be the most badass karma skin in all of existence. Rito! Why aren't we funding this?

Tbh i feel like Conqueror is more badass simply because of the whole "Elite" feel it has to it.

I have Conquerer Karma and I think it's pretty mediocre. It kinda feels like a red recolor. Now this concept ... it looks awesome, I would buy it without hesitation.

Conqueror Karma was obviously rushed, her eyes don't even glow when she uses Mantra and its not like we're asking too much for a skin to do what the splash art is.

Conqueror Karma was obviously rushed,

it's perfect for her! since her original rework all those years ago was also rushed! :o

rtbf2256182413 votes

Suit yourself. Just my opinion and the splash combined with the special border looks really nice aswell.

Pater Gascoigne1 votes

Yeah, the Splash art with the border looks pretty good. That's the reason why I bought it. I just think it looks pretty bland ingame.

But the visuals of this are way better

rtbf2256182411 votes

6 Months ahead. Seems legit.

It's a matter of visual appeal so like whatever you like.

Riot should just hire you- please, just apply. We need people like you making skins a reality.

Now that is a theme I never thought of for Karma, but .... that looks incredible. I love it :D

Legacy Hydralpha7 votes

We need compensation for the Karma nerfs anyways, I'd buy this skin.

13900 Essence4 votes

The compensation for those nerfs was the buffs of support items, or rather those nerfs were to in response to the buffs of the support items.

Felt like I had to comment cuz of our icons, don't mind me...

This looks absolutely amazing!! I'd love a Gatekeeper Karma skin. [zombie-nunu-hearts]

R0XTAR5 votes

This is perfection... THERE MUST BE 4 GATEKEEPERS!!

N Komaeda5 votes

Then Jhin has to be in there bud

AFK Push4 votes

Nope, it would be his fifth skin then.

VorpalKitsune1 votes

Then he should totally get to be the second gatekeeper then!! Karma can be the third.

AFK Push1 votes

You must not know about the jhin memes my dude lol

VorpalKitsune1 votes

Oh i know them, i even go out of my way to help those jhin threads to get higher up votes!! they always seem to be sitting at 4 or so and for such a good post they definitely deserve a higher up vote on them :).

NAY Wrecksauce5 votes

Tfw you work so hard to create the skin and you either

a. get no credit for the skin b. get no money for your hardwork c. your idea is completely ignored d. all of the above

The Ecdysiast1 votes

Even though it says in the terms that they won't accept community ideas.

They'll sure steal them though, and tweak them just a little.

NAY Wrecksauce4 votes

and then claim their design team has been working on the skin for months

This is just amazing. You've done such a marvelous job. I think the whole skin just looks incredible. My only critique, it being a personal preference, is that I feel her upper body seems too exposed considering how heavy her bottom half looks with all the clothing. Other than that I would very much like for this concept to be made into an actual skin for her. It's totally outside the norm for Karma since all her current skins are more light-themed in nature.

I love this skin idea ive been playing karma a lot lately and I just hit lvl 6 with her. but I feel like it goes against what karma is, shes a light hearted champion and she does good so all her skins are kind of lighter color based and what not. I love this skin but I think u should try something opposite of Galio like how they have those yasuo and riven skins coming out. more of an awesome upgraded Arclight or something for her, she could be the new angel of league. Just some food for thoughts I would love to see some concept art on it if u thought it was a good idea.

actually this wouldnt be the first time they changed a champions personality (based on looks) for the first time i mean academy vladmir, isnt he 100+ years old, pizza delivery girl sivir, isnt being selfcentered the only thing she talks about ect.[sg-ahri-2]

Youta1 votes

Omg is sooooo cool! I would love it...

Galiö1 votes

I still am in love with this concept.

But if Riot doesnt make it cause it steps on the toes of Galio too much i wonder how a Gatekeepr Karma would look for a Holy/Heavenly gate and make a heaven vs hell type of event.

Gatekeeper Galio and Devil Teemo

Vs

Gatekeeper Karma and Seraph Gnar

Or something.

i love it*[sg-kiko]*
