Hey, boards! Here's a skin concept for Taliyah that I painted. This particular idea's been gnawing at the back of my mind ever since Taliyah was teased so I'm happy I finally got around to painting it out of my system.

The elven princesses of the forests of Qrollae are famous for their powers over nature. The youngest of them, Princess Taliyah, is also renowned for two things in particular: her ability to manipulate sparkling emerald shards as deadly weapons, and her fierce curiosity on the world beyond the woods. Now finally past her childhood in elven years, she prepares to venture away from her home, eager to find her way into all kinds of trouble. Unless trouble finds her first... which, frankly, is just a matter of time.

Yeah, I never really thought about it, but we have Emerald Taric and Amethyst Ashe, but it kinda stopped there. Why no ruby, sapphire, topaz champ skins? I want a skin line!

Why is her ultimate nature based while the skin is suppose to be gem/mineral based? Maybe slight changes to braum's ult glaciers (color and shape) could fit it better.

Why the fuck wasn't this her release skin?

Don't get me wrong freljord is a good skin but this looks like something that should've existed already.

Those vines would have to be hard to surf on tho

I was going to say like "I am all for a Talyiah skin but Emerald would be mostly a recolor" - but damn that skin looks good. Ult looks amazing though the vines invoque some other theme, the leave sprouting of it looked like little emerald crystals which also fitted better.

And yeah, there's many themes that fit:

Treasure Hunter Talyiah

Q - throws coins or different gold objects (crown, challice, skull) W - Unearths a pile of gold coins aswell as a chest that jumps into the air and falls onto the pile, rolling down and opening. E - bunch of chests R - she rides smaug c:

the ult is the only thing I don't like, why go from the emerald theme to thorns? There is no reason it couldn't be an emerald wall.

I think this skin would make good and easy chromas. You could change the colour of the gems and plants to a more like Red, Blue or Purple theme (Ruby, Sapphire and Amerhyst) or something.

Beautifully done, my suggestion would be to maybe change the ult from bramble to gem walls because it doesn't quite make sense to have her abilities be gem, gem, gem, Zyra.

Love the skin concept!

Just a question, how about Taliyah's passive? Do you have an image that might showcase that a little bit? In base and Frejlord Taliyah, her passive sort of leaves a small trail behind and I would like to know how the rock and the trail would look like in this skin.

It looks good, I like her cape. I'm not a huge fan of the gloves though, to me they look out of place. And I think the ult also looks a little out of place as well, just an emerald wall would looks pretty cool.

That looks beautiful, but maybe make the ultimate look a bit thicker and denser instead of having bigger gaps. Keep it up! (Have you ever looked into working for the riot design team?)

My first reaction is that it doesn't read incredibly well as Taliyah, of course that Omega Squad Veigar skin made it through so what the hell do I know.

My second reaction is that it's the shoulders and the ult causing the problem. Can the epaulets turn/droop down? Taliyah's always been a cape person more than a shoulder pad kinda girl. I get the plant/druid/elf motif but I'd definitely make the ult more gem based, it's just kind of too Zyra with the vines, and with everything else being gems.

i love this idea, the only thing i'd change is the ulti being vines doesn't seem to make sense, it can be made of giant emeralds... also personally i'd give her a different hairstyle, only since her current freljord skin has a ponytail as well... perhaps a braided ponytail or 2 would look cute? elegant even.

This is amazing. I think it will be a great addition to the Elderwood sub-series as it would further increase the depth and volume of the realm. With the aforementioned inspiration for an Elderwood skin of Kindred, I think this would be a good follow up alongside a third skin for another champion to complete the set.

Maybe another coven skin? Who knows? It can happen.

Well except for the ultimate of Taliyah Emerald skin I think this is a good concept. I think it could evolve to Jade Taliyah skin tho I think it's a good idea for a starter. Taliyah
