Shelly - The Herald of the Void

Let me start off by saying Shelly is a placeholder name. It is in reference to the Herald at the top of summoners rift. The idea for this champion is to be a support void creature similar to Herald. The design would obviously be different, but Herald is the inspiration behind this champion concept.

Background

A void rift opened and out appeared Shelly. Nobody knows what Shelly truly looks like, but the form she had chosen coming into this world was akin to a Rhino beetle. Large plates of Exo-skeletal armor covered the front of Shelly. A large horn protruded from her head that had the shape of a 'W'. Though very large, the wings on her back could make her fly short distances very quickly; as if her wings were carrying a small child instead of a monster.

Shelly has one goal. That is to open the void. She will succeed where her brethren have failed. On top of bringing the ultimate destruction to mankind, she will support the creatures of the void whether they want it or not.

Opening Week

The release of Shelly will be met with an accompanying game mode: World Enders. This game mode will be an asymmetrical game mode where 1 team will choose from a roster of void champions, and the opposing team will choose from a roster of 'Defenders of Runterra'. Naturally, this would come with skins for a roster of champions similar to the star guardians.

The Defenders of Runterra will have one life and can be revived by their teammates. They are significantly stronger than the void champions; however, the void champions will have a 'stock' of lives where they can keep respawning until their stock runs out. The idea of the gamemode is to use teamwork to end the Defenders, and for the Defenders to, well, defend. The void champions will have other quality buffs to make sure they are not too underpowered compared to the Defenders.

A skin of Shelly will also be released called World Ender Shelly. It will be a cheap skin for Shelly that adorns her Void colors.

Abilities

Passive - Exo-skeletal armor: Shelly has increased defenses against magic and physical damage. This is increased on champion takedowns, as she consumes the defenses of those that fall before her. The extra defenses from champion takedowns stay until Shelly is out of Champion combat for a period of time.

Q - The horn isn't just for looks: Shelly dashes forward a set distance. Upon hitting an enemy champion, Shelly will make the enemy airborne. If she reaches the end of her dash, all champions within a 'W' hitbox are knocked airborne.

W - Anotha Dash: Shelly dashes to a targeted location. Up to two allies, enemies, or a single ally and enemy in the path of her dash are picked up and taken with her to the targeted location. Enemies can still use dashes and blinks to get out of the dash.

E - Armor stack: Shelly transitions all of her armor to the front of her body. She gains damage reduction for a short time from any damage coming from the front of Shelly. Damage taken from the rear deals a percentage more damage to Shelly.

R - Void Caller: Shelly uses her horn to open a rift to the void. The rift continually pulls enemies towards the center, and those enemies in the center take damage over time. The area of effect is a large oval. Enemies can dash and blink out of the area of effect. Enemies cannot escape by standard walking. Shelly gains increased movement speed and attack speed while in the area effect of her ultimate.
