I heard about this pick a lot of times, but now I finally got to play against him and man is it frustrating.
He does %hp magic damage with Devour, but he also built Titanic Hydra 1st item for the AA resets and physical damage.
How do you itemize against that? How do you play around that?

I mained top for 5 seasons, so here's some advice against Tham top:
try quinn and vault whenever he lands his tongue and play safe until off cd

would probably do the trick as well, provided you haven't fed him before lvl 6, if you play it with half a brain, i.e. look to counter strike his autos, stun him, and Q away. There are probably loads of options, tbh. That's not to say he isn't super annoying though :D

Look to only last hit, get the wave slow pushing toward him when it’s on your side. It’s pretty easy to break a Tahm freeze, and you’ll be safe in a huge minion wave. Avoid fighting him. He falls off super hard after two items and is a terrible teamfighter after the Devour cooldown changes.
