Quinn Soft Rework
Let me start off by saying most of Quinn's kit is actually fine. And I would like to stress that she is fun to play and I am not saying she is unplayable or anything.
That being said, there are 2 abilities that are completely unfun to play with and against. That is her Q and her Ult. The blind is absolutely obnoxious for 2 reasons: first is I get a mini seizure every time a Q hits me playing against Quinn. The change in vision is so sudden and is just not fun as a mechanic. Sure it is unique, but that comes at the expense of not being very enjoyable to play against.
Second, playing as Quinn and using Q is not satisfying. It is pretty mediocre damage. This means that the ability should be used for the utility. The problem is, you can tell when you blind someone but you cannot tell their vision range. This wasn't a problem with the old blind, but now you have to guess as Quinn how far the enemy can actually see. This leaves much to be desired in an ability.
On Quinn's Ult, I believe this is the dumbest ult in the game. It is used as a movement speed buff and that's it. You zoom around the map and catch people off guard. It does nothing to enhance her kit or make her gameplay more enjoyable. If she does well in lane, she can easily transfer it around the map. But if she does not do well, her ult becomes basically useless.
Now mentioning these issues without a solution is just complaining. This is what I would personally suggest, and I encourage others to comment their suggestions for Quinn as well.
Change her Q to the old blind. That's it. Or add a visual indicator to show how far the enemy vision has been reduced.
For her Ult, get rid of that obnoxious movement speed buff. Rather, make it an execute. Have Valor come down and do massive damage in an area, and do percent missing health damage to enemies who are marked by Quinn's passive.
Change her passive slightly to where auto attacking champions Marks them, then auto attacking again consumes the mark. The mark still being instantly refreshed if hit by Quinn's abilities. Her Ult can also trigger the mark to do percent missing Health damage.
Not every champion needs to have unique game altering abilities. Sometimes keeping it simple is the best option.
How would this improve Quinn? It would do a multitude of things. It would make her much less reliant on how she does in lane to have an impact in game from her Ult change. Her passive would be more predictable and skill oriented by having it mark enemies hit by abilities, or hit by consistent autos. This would make Quinn much more consistent as well. Finally, her Q would not be so unfun to play against.
