Goblins of MurMur Island

Before second rune war Long time ago there lived creatures know as Gerbs or Shadow Goblins. Set free to the world after first rune war these creatures was mysterious and unfriendly to people of Valoran. It's unknown what these creatures were doing and what purpose have they had. Some say that they served one villain after another trying to bring destruction upon Valoran. During every war, rise or fall of civilization or other turning point of history Gerbs was around the corner serving evil people in the shadows. During the period of time between rune wars these creatures was treated like common animals by most people, however Gerbs were intelligent, clever and cunning.

During second rune war Their destiny changed dramatically during this war. Mass extinction of their race driven them out of continent. At that time Gerbs were ruled by one of their kind called Jab Jabre Jack Jix. Upon his comman Gerbs fled into Conqueror's Sea in small boats to find a safe place to their race. Several days they spend in the ocean until they found an island cowered in fog. It was MurMur Island. Because of its volcanic activity the water around the island was always hot and produced fog. Many underwater volcanic pillars sank a lot of ships before. However, Gerbs managed to reach the shore and found their paradise. There they build their home. Being isolated from outside world they created their own art, literature, science and many more things. Slowly developing civilization of Gerbs had much potential in it.

~~ ~~ Zer'Zix, The Colonizator of The Worlds

Early years Being part of Zix tribe Zer grew up with Voidborns who wanted nothing more than to consume other beings. However, Zer was part of Void bugs colony where his tribe members worked together as one like ants. Zer's mother, the hive queen, is the sister of Kha's () mother, so these two are cousins. But, that's one of few things that they have in common, because Zer wasn't part of hunters tribe and Kha had no interest in building colonies. Even though these two never met, but Zer found out that Kha traveled out of the Void to Runetarra.

Later time Jealous of his cousin Zer found a dimensional crack on his own between The Void and Runeterra. He went back to his hive and gathered everything and everyone he needed and tried to travel to dimensional crack. Even being direct child of the queen Zer wasn't treated as such. In his hive there were classes of different types of hive members such as workers, caretakers, warriors, drones, breeders and others. He was a part of one of the lowest class- the caretaker. So, when he tried to flee the hive, then some warriors was send after him and they almost caught him. Even though he had to left all he had behind, Zer jumped inside the dimensional crack closing it on The Void side and ended up in MurMur Island.

Becoming overlord Seeing new world with his eyes his first instinct was to consume all living creatures around him. For few hours he hunter everything that move until he came eye to eye with MurMur goblins. At first he thought to kill and eat them as any other living beings, but to his surprise goblins didn't flee from him. They weren't scared. Goblins fall on their knees greeting Zer as a god. Bowing their heads and chanting their prays, calling Zer their ruler confused this Voidborn. For the first time in his life he was treated not as useless monster, bus as an overlord. Zer managed to suppress his hunger for a while, because he was curious and maybe even happy (if voidborns can be happy). Zer was taken in by MurMur goblins as their ruler. They offered him food, drinks and everything he needed.

A plan to conquer Valoran Goblins told Zer about what they remember about mainland. When Zer heard about wast land over the sea, he made up his mind to travel there. However, his purpose wasn't good at all. He decided to colonize this world and become the almighty overlord. Goblins build a grand ship and set sails with their rules to conquer Valoran.

~~ ~~ Other facts Every goblin who displeases Zer'Zix were eaten by him, but that haven't diminished their loyalty to their overlord. Zer'Zix is hermaphrodite, but always refer to himself as a male. However, he found no interest in MurMur female goblins, because they look almost exactly as males. Zer'Zix treats goblins almost as his children, however being raised in The Void he had only bad examples of how parents should act. His mother and her sister actually have different fathers. Zer'Zix have no sense of humor, but he likes to watch comedic performances of goblins. Over the years goblins adapted to volcanic climate of MurMur Island and can survive in extreme hot temperatures. Zer'Zix ins't good or caring in any way possible. He is still Voidborn and lives to consume other, but he was also raised as hive member, so he built hive on his own. Goblins are safe while they behave and listen to his commands.
