Omen - Vex

Well, there was a champ in that lovely game called Vex. When I first heard of Omen, I understood of his cancellation. I didn't really understand how he'd play, and couldn't see him in the game

Then, I remembered Vex. This ADC-type character made me think of a siege-type champ. How many of those do we have? Not too many, adc-wise. So, I was thinking, I can now totally see Omen in League, drawing inspiration from Vex.

Thoughts? I know, he was semi-turned into Rek'Sai, and there are other siege-type characters, but still... Plus, seeing a living trebuchet/balista would be kinda cool...

Dawngate was a gem, it was my 2nd MOBA that made me love MOBA's of all types.......BUT! EA had to **FUCK IT UP! the $$ GREEDY @%$!% ** huhuhuh, sorry. I was really pissed & upset that Dawngate had to be canceled after all the amazing stuff it had.

While it will always be in my heart & I hope somehow, somewhere it comes back with out EA dragging it down all I have to say is: NO!

while I would LOVE to play Vex again, he was 1 of my better ADC Shapers NO let Vex stay in that jewel of a MOBA as one of its own treasures. leave the poor experimented creature alone let him stay in his own MOBA.

Doesn't he have the same problem Omen has ? I mean he doesn't really look like an ADC.

Vex shot the spines that grew out of his body as splintering projectiles, he may not look like a typical ADC who uses a bow, firearm hell a damn spell book or whatever Vex was a BOSS ADC in Dawngate.

Visual representation is a core part of a champion, which means that looking at a champion should give you a lot of information about it. Omen as well as this Vex don't look like ADCs they look like melee brawlers with a thornmail passive. Additionally what would they bring to the game ?

Valid point, but if you read what Vex Lore & info says then it explains how he is an ADC.

But to me visual representation can be very constrictive and/or stiff. While I do need a visual rep. to help know what a character is suppose to be sometimes I really love characters that break the mold & try to be different so that's why i applaud Dawngate for doing something different for an ADC-Type Shaper. Also despite his appearance Vex is actually pretty squishy in game, his appearance was the result of countless torture like experiments at the hands of another playable Shaper named Petrus.

As for "what would they bring to the game", I don't know or care about Omen but Vex brought powerful A.O.E Burst Damage with decent De-Buffs in the forms of Armor Reduction, having an Auto-Attack steroid that lets him deal % Health bonus damage, having an A.O.E Move.Sp Slow & finally an ult that has his Auto-Attacks for a short duration have good Splash radius & damage. with the right build & "masteries & runes" Vex could literally wipe out a whole enemy team on his own if he manages to keep himself at a safe distance & keeps applying on the pressure so they can't get to him.

Maybe it's not important for you, but I prefer the visuals and gameplay to match up and I doubt I am the only one.

at first yes, his design was misleading at first, but when I got to know him & play him it didn't matter to me anymore.

So he is Kog'Maw ?

I guess in some way Vex & Kog share some similarities, aside from being weird (but cool looking creatures) as they are both pretty high burst damage ADC's that have minimal CC built into their kit with no real means of Mobility & have to rely on their team for most of their protection & have to be positioned correctly to get maximum effectiveness out of their damage output.
