Jing is a character that connects with a well known character, Yasuo, inside of LoL's lore. She is an elder of Ionia, and her crossing with Yasuo takes place a short while after the Noxian war. Her son, Bao Lin, has gone mad after the war, and has sent a group of swordsman to kidnap her and bring her to him, as they invade her tea-house. Luckily, she is accompanied by Yasuo, the disciple of air. This story can be read in LoL's "Realms Of Runterra" book that came out about 2 weeks ago. This story, "Orchid's Bloom," tells about a non-LoL champion in such detail, and the way she handles herself in combat, that it's surprising she is not already a champion. So here is my take of a champion that I think should be added to the game. Side note, Jing would also be the first elderly looking female character, so its nice to throw some variety in there ;).

(I'm not good at deciding base stats for champions, and I believe she would be played mid lane, but feel free to add input to either of those below!)

Passive - O-ma's Resilience - Jing batters the sounds around her with her basic auto attacks, granting her a short burst of movement speed, up to +15% for 1.5 seconds, and spells cast within this burst of sound and speed will have a reduced cooldown. "Could it be? But no... The cadence was wrong..."

Q - Swaying Bamboo - (Passive: Jing gains a stack of faster attack speed for every auto attack sliced or shot around her, stacking up to 6 times, each granting +10% attack speed, and an extra 0.5 second duration.) Active: Jing bursts a lethal blow of two strikes on her next auto attack. The first strike deals 75% reduced physical damage, but grants her +15%-+35% increased defenses for 1.5 seconds. The second strike deals an additional 45% damage, and lowers the enemy struck with -15% to -25% decreased defenses for 1 second. "An armed wanderer. A swordsman by the sound of it..."

W - Xaolan Tea Leaves - Jing cascades a steamy broil of Xaolan white tea toward targeted area. Enemy champions hit with the blend are dealt with 75-110 Physical damage. Enemies hit are also marked with Blending Mixture, and allies that hit these enemies will be healed by 50% of the physical damage they deal for the next 4.5 seconds (including Jing). "So he does know the flower by name..."

E - Flutter Of Winds - Jing bestows the energy around her, creating a wind wall, that rather blocking enemy projectiles, sloshes them in the direction opposite of where the wind travels through it. Enemies blown by the wind are silenced after exiting the storm for 2 seconds. "It means you are being loud... And should consider being less loud..."

R - CEASE - Swaying Bamboo will now gain stacks of Sound Storms that solidify into crystals that fill up in her mana bar, on top of the attack speed stacks. When she reaches 25 crystals(stacks), she can cast CEASE. She can release this energy in a field in front of her, blowing gusts of crystal shards toward enemies in front of her. Enemies hit are knocked upward, and dealt 170-240-310 Physical Damage, as well as being frozen in air for 2.5 seconds. CEASE does not have a set cooldown, but will remain unusable until she has gained 25 more Sound Storm Crystals to fire. While casting CEASE, Jing is locked in place for 1 second, readying her crystals, and will take increased damage until the crystals are fired. "I'm getting old... That should not have winded me like it did..."

One thing that I like is that you take the time to add special quotes for each ability. It adds a nice touch to the description and adds more to the character.

Thank you so much! I spend about equal time creating the quotes as I do the actual ability, so I appreciate you saying this!

I like this a lot, its a cool exploration of what Jing could do as a champion, i liked the quotes u put in there as well I also liked the counter-play in the ult, and how well it mirrors how she is in her current state. but i think u should note that Jing did not display any usage of wind magic in the story, also Riot probably wouldn't make an ability that redirects enemy skillshots bc of the risk of it going in unintended directions like into an ally, thats why Skillshots that explode are coded to NOT explode when hitting Yasuo's wall bc the designers were worried about Yasuo accidentally hurting his allies in-game

I think this a great concept, I can tell you read a lot, if not all of the Orchard's Bloom story, and put a lot of thought into this champ. I do think somewhere in the KIT you should have room for a skill that is emphasized all throughout her fight scene. "Spiritual Sight" Maybe make it a toggle abilities that changes your vision to make you see enemy, friendly and neutral units in a different way. Something like a wider range Sweeper, much much more clear and define. Also, it should be so dope that she can see through Clone's, Stealth and see traps.

well, maybe not see traps, but see through Clones and Stealth at least. What are your thoughts?
