An Aatrox rework idea
Aatrox is supposed to be the lifesteal king. He's a drain tank capable of heavy damage at the cost of his own health. He's supposed to heal for more if he's at low health than high health. He deals sustained damage more than burst damage, relying on his auto attacks for the majority of his damage and only using his abilities to stick to enemies.
I moved his Blood Thirst (the W OFF toggle) to become his new passive. The Q and E are the same. Blood Price is the only part of his W now, and it became an enhanced auto attack that strikes for extreme damage but also hits Aatrox for a portion of the damage he deals (so don't use it at low HP to secure a kill or you could die too).
His "you can't kill me" passive I moved to his ultimate. He has an ability for his ultimate now similar to Tryndamere's ult, but it's easier to play around and force him to still die. His ult grants him Lifesteal and Attack Speed (instead of range and attack speed) and makes him unable to die for the duration (like Tryndamere). But unlike Tryndamere, if Aatrox is dealt enough damage while his ultimate is up, he will still die at the end of it (Tryndamere can only die if you hit him after it expires, which is difficult because he usually will E away and Q to heal up right before it expires). All overkill damage dealt to Aatrox while he's ulted is saved as Exhaustion, and all healing he does to himself is copied as Darkin's Resolve. When the ult expires, he's healed for his Darkin's Resolve and dealt true damage for his Exhaustion. To kill him regardless of his ult, you just have to get his Exhaustion higher than his Darkin's Resolve and he'll kill himself even if he escaped.
Innate -- Thirst for Battle: Aatrox's auto attacks heal him for 4% of his missing health.
Q -- Dark Flight: Aatrox dives to a target location, dealing physical damage to enemies upon landing and knocking up enemies in the epicenter for 1 second.
Physical Damage: 70/115/160/205/250 (+60% Bonus AD) Cast Range: 650 Damage Radius: 225 Epicenter Radius: 75 Cost: 10% of current Health Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12
W -- Blood Price: Aatrox empowers his next auto attack, dealing 200%/240%/280%/320%/360% damage. This ability also deals physical damage to Aatrox equal to 25% of the damage dealt.
Cooldown: 10 seconds
E -- Blades of Torment: Aatrox unleashes two converging energy waves in the target direction, dealing magic damage to enemies hit and slowing them by 40%.
Magic Damage: 75 / 110 / 145 / 180 / 215 (+ 60% AP) (+ 60% bonus AD) Range: 1000 Cost: 5% of current Health Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8
R -- Fury of the Darkin Blade: For 3/4/5 seconds, Aatrox gains 20%/25%/30% Life Steal and 30%/35%/40% Attack Speed and cannot die, instead being reduced to 1 HP by attacks that would otherwise kill him.
For the duration, any self-healing effects on Aatrox grant him Darkin's Resolve equal to the amount healed. Any damage that would take him below 1 HP is converted into Exhaustion equal to the overkill damage value. After Aatrox's immunity to death expires, Aatrox is healed for an amount equal to his Darkin's Resolve value, then takes true damage equal to his Exhaustion value.
Cooldown: 110/100/90
