For someone at Sona's pick rate her win rate should not be as high as it is, she is long ranged with heavy damage with her Q and Power chord. She needs a little nerf, like she is getting. This isn't some huge destroying nerf.

Actually, higher pickrate usually means winrate drops (Thresh, Lee Sin, Vayne have under 50% winrates). Heimerdinger and Swain have about 4% pickrates and 53% winrates.
The ms nerf isn't that bad, but the powerchord nerf will affect her, as her poke is the only thing she excels at now.

Apparently "oppressive" means being tied for lowest base damage, having the 2nd lowest single-trade damage, having the weakest heal in the entire game, the weakest and shortest duration shield, the least CC and only 1 of 2 without pre-6 CC. If this is everything a ranged support could want, then it's fortunate that it's not been given to anyone else. We'd have to rename this game to "League of Featherweights."
