[CHAMPION REWORK] WUKONG, the Monkey King (Unofficial)

Hi there.

First of all I want to be make it clear that I am not a Wukong main and only writing this as an opinion on what it would take to make me pick him more often. Currently I don't find Wukong to be as fun as other champions, he feels kinda lazy, which i will explain later with each rework. But like i said, i'm not a Wukong main, so i can be wrong, this is just in general as I compare him with other, in my opinion, better champs.

UNCHANGED - Stone Skin(Passive) Increases Wukong's Armor and Magic Resist for each nearby enemy champion.

His passive is pretty unique, it promotes team fights and ganks, currently no need for an update or change for this one.

SLIGHT REWORKED - Crushing Blow(Q) Cost: 40 Mana Range: 650 Wukong's charges his staff for increased physical damage, gains range, and reduces the enemy's Armor for a short duration. Wukong's charges up a heavy blow for up to 4 seconds, each second increases the range of the next attack, gains 200/400 range, deals 30/60/90/120/150 (+10% Attack Damage) bonus physical damage and reduces the enemy's Armor by 10/15/20/25/30% for 3 seconds.

I found the original ability to be kinda lazy, I liked the effect and overall what it does, but felt like there was no association to his theme. My version gives him a charge visually similar to Sions Q and Mechanically Vi's Q, the longer he charges, the longer the range of the attack, thats all. You can hit a target from far away or hit multiple target in a straight line. this fits more in line with his team fight threat, rather than single target bruiser

REWORKED - Sweep Spin(W) Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 Range: 300 Wukong spins his staff around hi sbody, dealing damage and knocking up enemies around him. Wukong spins his staff around his body for 1.5 seconds. For the duration deals physical damage 50/95/140/195/230 (+10% Attack Power) physical Damage to enemies and knocks them up for 1 sec.

I didn't like how the DECOY worked, I liked the idea of a clone, but because it spawned and did nothing , it was easy to tell when it was cast. I removed it for now, and replaced it with a mini-CYCLONE ability. Basically it works the same as his old ult, but doesn't last as long and doesn't deal huge damage. Also no longer does magic damage as i thought that was a weird stat to add now. So now it's basically an AOE interrupt, again promoting team fights.

REWORKED Nimbus Dash(E) Cost: 40/45/50/55/60 Mana Range: 625 Wukong fly's over towards an aimed location. Enemy champion in his path are blinded. Wukong dashes toward a target location and can pass through minions or terrain. Enemy champion hit are blinded for 2 seconds, this does not dismount or stop Wukong's travel.

Since I moved the AOE in to the W, i removed the multi target from the E and just made into a mobility/utility tool. Now Wukong is nimble on the field and get get to objectives a little better. The damage is removed and replaced with a utility blind on effected enemies, again trying to promote team fight abilities and interruptions.

REWORKED Duplicate Army Cost: 150 Mana Range: 250 Wukong becomes Invisible for a short duration, and then summons duplicates of himself to confuse the enemy, while active, Duplicates mirror Wukong's actions and abilities. Wukong's becomes Invisible for 1.5 seconds and reappears with 2/3/4 duplicates of himself. Duplicates last for 5 seconds, have 30% of Wukong's current HP and mirror both movement and abilities. They will also attack the enemy that Wukong is attacking or attack the nearest enemy. Duplicates deal 25% of Wukongs attack damage. Duplicates die when Wukong dies and they don't give gold upon death.

This is a big one and changes Wukong drastically at level 6. It's a better ultimate in my opinion, gives more options for what he can do, rather than just being a R bot. he can still cast the new W to Mass AOE interruption like before, new E for escaping and initiation, or just point blank damage with mass Q cast. The Duplicates are not Shaco clones, and can't be controlled individually, but they do deal damage, gain aggro and can be targeted by spells or abilities. Overall I feel this gives Wukong more options as a team fight disruptor.

Duplicate Notes: Buff, debuffs, marks and DOT appear on duplicates, but do not apply bonus's or effects. If they effect Wukong visually, they will appear and reflect on his duplicates. (example: if Wukong is slow before casting his R, he and his clones will appear as slowed, but only because they mirror wukong's current stats.) If Wukong is stunned, rooted or silenced, his Duplicates can still move and continue to attack, but can't cast abilities. Summoner spells like summoner 4 summoner 6 summoner 21 will apply on duplicates. (copies movementspeed, location and visual apearance) Summoner spells like summoner 3 summoner 7 summoner 14 will only be applied by the real Wukong,

TLDR: Passive: unchanged Q - add's range per charge like Sion Q or Vi Q W - Reworked completely to be mini-Cylone / Decoy removed E - Becomes a dash with a blind, no damage. R - Decoys moved here, mirrors movement and abilities for 5 seconds.

PROS: Promotes team fighting and ganks. More utility and mobility with his E Reliable disruption with new W More options with new R

Noted Interactions: Karthus or Soraka ult will only target the real Wukong, not his duplicates. TahmKench can both eat and spit out duplicates,, most likely killing them. Nami Ebb and Flow will bounce off duplicates, but does not prioritize them.

Veigar Veigar does get stacks from killing clones/decoys with his Q, but only 1 AP as opposed to the 6 AP he gets from champion kills. Having this one exception would be weird.

SOMEONE ELSE WHO AGREES WITH ME ON WUKONG BEING BORING! AT LAST

I've been using this monkey for over 2 years now for climbing, and it's about time he needs an update.

But I personally hope he keeps an on-hit-based ability of some sort so I can still abuse item 3153 on him.... (it does wonders + Fervor of Battle + his core offensive build lol)
