[Skin Suggestion] PROJECT: Quinn
This is a skin I came up with while thinking about Broken Lux.
Background information Progress log, designation "Quinn" Day 1: The light armored search-and-destroy unit is exceeding all expectations. It appears to be capable of discerning which targets are friendly and which are hostile. It also seems to proficiently incapacitate targets in as few hits as possible. I might request more advanced weaponry for this model. Day 3: An arm-mounted crossbow proved a worthy investment. All three targets were hit dead center and pierced. The unit's targeting system is spot on. I noticed, however, that it struck up a conversation with another of our models, the Virtual Avian Light Ordinance Roamer unit (referred to as V.A.L.O.R. in future references to save space). I did not think the unit a conversationalist, let alone with a unit designed to speak avian language to keep information confidential. Will have to ask my superiors about this development. Day 4: Color me shocked. The unit designated "Quinn" by one of the project heads is designed to work in conjunction with V.A.L.O.R. I did not expect this development. We started joint maneuvers today. The two work marvelously together, with Quinn calling out battle protocols and V.A.L.O.R. carrying them out. One maneuver we saw was apparently not programmed into the units by our heads, involving V.A.L.O.R. taking the lead on the battlefield, waiting for Quinn to leap in with numerous crossbow bolts that handily took out our training dummies as a group. Apparently these units have developed a minor autonomy. Will monitor these developments closely in the days to come. Day 6: Just a day after the project was canceled by one of our heads, the two units up and leave on us. It wasn't hard to figure out how they escaped; the hole in the wall was a subtle hint. PROJECT: Quinn is equipped with sleek black armor, her chin and mouth being the only parts exposed, revealing her humanlike structure. Her visor is styled like a hawk's beak, with two green vision ports. Quinn has a collapsible crossbow built into her right arm, capable of firing superheated metal coils. V.A.L.O.R. is equipped with black armor similar to Quinn's, with a similar vision port. He is equipped with a shockwave emitter that blinds and damages anything around it. He is designed to point out vulnerable enemies, linking his analysis to Quinn's HUD.
