[Concept Introduction] Mikan, the Data Huntress
Hello, this is going to be the first part of a series (if people like the character) of threads for champion development. I hope to get alot of feedback for this new champion I came up with, it is actually a rework of a former concept I wasn't really satisfied with. ^^ Her champion trope is something I really miss in this game and I would love if something similar would come out in the future.
Name: Mikan Faction: Piltover Role: Support Gender: female Age: 21
Lore:
Mikan is a young woman from Piltover and she always exceeded at analysing data and crafting devices. Her talent enabled her to collect some money helping the police of Piltover finding the culprits of some crimes.
What did she chose to do with that money? Of course, she tried to enhance her ability to collect and analyse data. Information is power and there is no one in Piltover knowing that better than Mikan.
Some time ago, she was crafting a device to operate the many cameras she placed around the city of Piltover and Zaun, as well as saving their data and processing it. She even programmed an own AI for it, calling it Argo. But without her noticing, something went wrong. While the AI accepted the name Argo given by her and did fulfill its duty, it seemed that it was more than what she created. The Brackern in the hextech crystal awakened and is using the voice and features given by Mikan now to help her.
I would like to provide a short story to this character soon, if she doesn't get too much hate here. ^^
Gameplay:
Mikan is a support character, best described as a mixture of catcher and enchanter. She exceeds at turning around flanks and ganks, giving her ADC some safety in lane, while her actual fighting power in the lane is limited. She shines in the mid to lategame, where she is able to spot enemies out of position and enable her ADC to take them out.
Kit: Passive: Argo Mikan starts the game with an unique item, called Argo. This item is providing (at the beginning almost non existent) stats, namely AP, CDR and healing/shielding power.
But different from Viktors hextech core, you don't purchase the higher levels of the item in the store. Argo will develope with every unique champion takedown Mikan was involved in. You can imagine an interace like Rengar, just that she doesn't have to kill the champion herself, but has to assist in it.
If Argo reaches lvl 3 (so: after 3 unique champions killed with Mikan around), it gains an active effect. Mikan can use Argo on any ward (allied and enemy ones) to transform it into a unique ward unit, sharing the name Argo. This ward unit can be moved (like Tibbers: control rightclick) and has 4 health points. If you activate Argo again, it will trigger the effect of Mikans W.
Q: Expose Weakness Skillshot. Mikan is analysing an area, dealing magic damage. If she hits an enemy champion, he/she gets marked. Allied champions attacking the marked enemy will deal additional on-hit-damage. This can't accure more than once per second for each allied champion.
W: Prepared Environment Mikan is placing a explosive camera on a wall, circular area of effect.. It grants vision and basically works like a trap. If an enemy champion walks into the zone, it will explode after a short delay, dealing magic damage and stunning the enemy. All enemies hit are "detected".
E: Reconstruction Mikan creates a tether between her and an allied champion. For 3 seconds, Mikan is healing the ally per second and shielding herself for the duration. Any form of hard CC is canceling this ability.
R: Swift Operation Mikan and an allied champion gain camouflage and movementspeed towards all detected enemies. Enemies revealed by a vision granting skill of her ally are marked as detected as well (For example: Corki Q, Ashe E, Kalista W). If a detected enemy champion dies within x seconds after the use, half the CD of Mikans R is refunded.
Recommended items:
Vision is important, especially as a support. And her scaling will love AP.
Great synergy, her heal is giving the buff and giving AS for the on hit damage of her Q.
Great alternative to make enemies "detected" on demand.
Would be great if it could be coded that the effect triggers after the camouflage ending.
Last words: I fell really in love with the concept of an female Analyst from Piltover. I hope this thread gets some attention, it would be really sad if this fantasy never becomes reality in the universe of League of Legends.
