Odol was a simple leech living within the waters of the Kumungu Jungle. He lived his life not knowing anything but the pulse of heartbeats, and the rush of fresh food. Until the animals stopped coming, and the new creatures did. Their blood caused a change in the mind of Odol, and slowly he became aware. He became more clever with each creature he feasted on. Learning more about the world and magic through their own eyes.

He learned to infect rather than feast in time. Using the bodies of his prey as shells for himself. Yet, the creatures didn't last long, and many other creatures killed them out of fear. Then, one day, the jungle burned. As it did Odol found a creature he never was able to reach before come to him. It's magic was strong and he fought it's mind. Until its body became his. On that day he became Odol, The Old Blood, and fear passed in the wind.


Passive: Leech Life

Odol's body hungers for life every fourth attack. Causing his target to bleed for magic damage (+x based on AD) leaving pools that Odol can stand on to absorb healing for X (+x based on max health).

(Note: the bleed can stack, new stacks don't refresh durations. Pools stack up to three in the same space, they are absorbed all at once.)

Q: Ancient Hunger

Odol uses some of his own life to empower his next basic attack slowly them and draining their defenses for 4 seconds. Adding to his own damage until his next basic attack, or 7 seconds.

If this attack is at the same time as his passive it pulls the pool into Odol as it forms.

W: Assimilation

Passive: Odol gains (Adapted) after consuming a pool left by a champion for 4 seconds. Allowing him to negate an ability used by the same champion. (Adapted) is unique for each enemy champion, but can only be acquired once per 20 seconds.

Odol sinks into a blood pool for 1 second and emerges from the ground in target area. If he emerges into another blood pool he gains bonus health regeneration (+x based on health).

E: Parasite Swarm

Odol throws a parasite at long range dealing physical damage (+X based on AD) to the first target hit, and draining healing and regeneration effects to Odol for 4 seconds. Odol can store up to 3/4/5/6 parasites. Parasites stack and are freshed when Odol's passive or Q hit the same target.

R: Infestation

Odol summons a cloud of parasites around him for 14 seconds. Each time Odol's passive procs the swarm to attacks for 3 seconds dealing magic damage (+x based on AD). Multiple swarms can affect enemies, but if any are the swarm around Odol is gone.

While the swarm is around Odol he gains armor, magic resistance, and deals twice as much damage per second.

Notes: the kit is basic and I'm not sold on the ultimate so it will likely change.

Leech Life - Passive: This is cool but I would change it slightly.

EXAMPLE:

Every 4th basic attack will cause the target to bleed, dealing 60 - 240 (+80%AD) magic damage over 4 seconds. The bleeding target will leave pools of blood as they travel, the pools remain in play for 4 seconds. If Odol stands on the blood pools, he heals for 2% (+1% per 100 AP) of his maximum health per second. Minions and monsters do not leave behind pools of blood as they travel.

No need to make it stack. But bleeding targets and standing on pools of blood is a cool concept.


Should specify this champion's attack range. I assume he is 125 range which is standard melee.


Ancient Hunger - Q:

EXAMPLE:

Odol's next basic attack within 5 seconds will slow his target down by 25/30/35/40/45% for 4 seconds and applies Leech Life to the target.

Keeps it simple and plays around with his passive.


I would do a slight rework and rename for W.

EXAMPLE:

Blood Stream - W:

Odol sinks into a pool of blood to swim through it for 1 second, becoming untargetable and moving 60/75/90/105/120% faster. After 1 second, he pops up and knocks up enemies for 1 second and deals 70/110/150/190/230(+50%AD)(+70%AP) physical damage to struck enemies.

Something like this plays around his passive and Q to help bleed targets and then sink into the blood and knock them up, with the slow helping with this. The knock-up time then can help apply another passive proc.


Parasite Swarm - E:

This adjust it a little bit.

EXAMPLE:

Rather than dealing damage directly, it instead applies Leech Life against the target.


Have a kit that play around your passive and everything else helps keep up that bleed damage by constantly refreshing it. Apply the passive at range by landing E and then use something like the W suggestion and Odol can swim through the pools of blood on the ground, then knocks up his target and can slow them down with his Q. Since you are playing around bleed refreshing it makes him more appropriate as a bruiser and he is slowly whittling down your target and healing yourself in the process while standing on blood.


Infestation - R:

Simplify this by making it deal magic damage per second around Odol against targets that are bleeding. The parasites love blood so they attack those that have it oozing out of them!

The swarm protecting him and giving him bonus armour and magic resistance is fine. No need for double damage, just have one set of damage where the parasites are attacking bleeding targets, makes it where you need to be both melee range and activate your passive on targets for even more damage with the bonus resistances encouraging to be in the middle of the fight.
