What about temporarily giving players a random skin if they already own a champion in the free rotation but have no skins for him/her/it?
This would allow us to try skins in-game before buying them, and should also increase the overall purchases of skins (it's a known marketing device: you give a normally non-free service for free for a limited time, and when it's over there's an increased chance that people will pay in order to keep it).
kaltenashes4 votesSkin Spotlight show everything about every skin
plus they are going to implement a system that gives away skin
LilQuacker2 votesNaw temporary things are stupid
RisenDarkKnight2 votesI think the crafting system they are implementing soon will be there way of letting you try some skins (you get keys/chests after games that let you get a reward which is often skin rentals, but sometimes permanent free skin).
Shield Villain2 votesThe sentiment is nice, but it's not really required. Skins don't really improve gameplay or anything like that. If you really care to see what a skin looks like in game before you buy it, there are plenty of websites where you can view the models. There are even skin previews on youtube so you can see the particles in action, taunts, dances, etc.
It's not like free champion rotation, where you have to play the champ to really get a feel for it before you decide you want to buy them. I don't see the benefit to this other than giving people who don't want to buy skins a chance to use skins.
SheikaRei1 votesI totally agree to this idea and give my seal of approval. RITO! WE NEED THIS NOW!
Maligaro Spike1 votesyou can already do it by using mklol :P
Mannysmoker9 votesWhat's the point of using a 3rd. party installment to use a skin if you are the only one that can see it, the point of buying a skin to for everyone you play with to see it and buy them...
Igglet4 votesMKlol which can get you banned.
