Okay, so think of Vakin as a more steampunk-ish, less armoured version of Whiplash (see above).

I chose the name Vakin as there were two Piltover good guys (Jayce and Vi) right? (lets forget Caitlyn here) Jayce starts with J, so does Jinx. But Vi starts with a V, no outlaws from Piltover (screw Viktor he is a villain) start with V, so I made Vakin :D (Okay admittedly that was a bit weird :P)

**OVERVIEW: **Vakin is a mobile top laner or jungler, adept and chasing down enemies and sustaining his damage and health during long teamfights. Vakin relies on a constant move-attack-move-attack combinations to work to his full potential.

LORE: My DESTRUCTION Journal- Day: Yada-yada-yada, Month: Who cares? Aha! Today was awesome. Me and Jinx caused some trouble out on the streets with some Piltover thugs. Then, a huge street brawl broke out with us and them. I had Shockly (Vakin's Whip) and Jinx had Fishbones. THEY WERE NO MATCH! First we were BOOM! Then they CRASHED into the side of an orange building, the one that the Piltover Council had just fixed :) Eventually Caitlyn came. She seemed like she was in a bad mood, but what the heck could she do to "VAKIN AND JINX, THE DUO UNSTOPPABLE!" We ran. She chased. It was so fun! It was like Caitlyn was chasing a cheetah, she could never catch up. Then BLAM! Vi shows up to ruin the fun, or should I say- Add to it! Now Jinx and I had a REAL challenge. We ran across buildings, leaped across balconies and boy it was SO MUCH FUN! They couldn't catch us. We lost them in an alley and marked on its walls- VAKIN AND JINX- WE WERE HERE! Day: Am I still doing this? Month: See before? BORING! No-one on the streets, no-one to stop us. Where's the fun in that? Eventually I just drew marks on various walls and paths, hoping someone would catch me. Alas, I did not get caught. Oh what a terrible day that was. Nothing to say, nothing to write. Day: Summoners Rif- wait what? Month: Ugh... YES I'M IN LEAGUE OF LEGENDS! I GOT IN ILLEGALLY! HOW AMAZING! I CAN HAVE FUN ALL THE TIME NOW! Lets see, where is Jinx, Caitlyn and Vi? They'll help me have some real fun! I think I saw Jinx a few moments ago, that's all for now, I'm going to wreak havoc with her in bot lane!

FRIENDS: Jinx and (Ekko) RIVALS: Caitlyn Vi Jayce

ABILITIES:

Passive: Livewire- As Vakin uses basic attacks, he produces stacks of Livewire, he gains 6% attack speed for each stack of Livewire. This bonus attack speed stacks to 5 times. During times he has any amount of Livewire stacks; he will heal himself for 5/6/7/8% of the damage dealt with each basic attack. The passive heal does not stack. Livewire stacks last for 4 seconds, but its duration can be refreshed through further basic attacks.

NOTES: Livewire is meant to keep Vakin alive through the laning phase and to help sustain his health in teamfights.

Q: Ionic Assault- PASSIVE: Vakin’s basic attacks also charge his whip with plasma, granting him a stack of Plasma Charge for 4 seconds, which cause further basic attacks to deal 2/3/4/5/6 (+5% AP) bonus magic damage on hit, which can trigger life-steal effects and Livewire. Plasma Charge stacks to 5 times. ACTIVE: Vakin lashes his whips in a ¾ circle in a direction from him. This deals 40/65/90/115/140 (+70% AD) to enemies within the range and grants Vakin 15% movement speed, decaying over 1 second if it hits an enemy. Additional 4/5/6/7/8 (+10% AP) magic damage is dealt for each stack of Plasma Charge Vakin has upon activation of this skill. This consumes all current stacks of Plasma Charge. The magic damage scaling does not stack additively. (10/15/20/25/30 Mana) (3/3/3/3/3 Cooldown) (300 Range)

NOTES: This skill is meant to be one that slowly shreds enemies of their health, also allowing you to keep up with them in the process.

W: Whipstrike- Vakin strikes his whips into the ground, overloading with plasmatic energy. This energy travels through the ground and damages all enemies it hits dealing 80/110/140/170/200 (+70% AP) magic damage, also knocking the first enemy struck up for 0.75 seconds. This energy remains on the ground for 3 seconds, during this time enemies who step on the energy are slowed by 10/15/20/25/30% for 1 second. While Vakin is on this energy, his Livewire bonuses are doubled for 2 seconds. (65/65/65/65/65 Mana) (11/10.5/10/9.5/9 Cooldown) (850 Range) (100 Width)

NOTE: For better ganking potential, also so Vakin has a safe way to poke at enemies in lane.

E: Energetic Rush- Vakin dashes in a target direction, running through and pushing back enemies he encounters in the middle of the dash dealing 80/115/150/175/210 (+75% Bonus AD). Enemies to the side of Vakin are instead hit by his whips and pushed aside and dealt 50% reduced damage. The dash length scales on how many stacks of Livewire that Vakin has, increasing by 10, for each stack. This skill’s cooldown is reduced by 0.5 seconds whenever Vakin hits an enemy. This skill can be used to go through small walls. (40/45/50/55/60 Mana) (14.5/14/13.5/13/12.5 Cooldown) (500 Range)

NOTE: For Vakin's main escape ability. Had the dash range increase depending on stacks so players have to think within 4 seconds that stacks would be active- should I dash into there?

R: Plasma Skirmish- Vakin channels for up to 3.5 seconds, targeting up to 3 enemy champions, slowing them. If reactivated or after the 3.5 seconds ends, Vakin will rush to the first enemy he targeted, following them around and striking them repeatedly with his whip, slowing them by 15% for the duration dealing 40/70/100 (+10% AD) per 0.5 seconds for up to 2.5 seconds. Within those 2.5 seconds he can reactivate the ability to dash to the next targeted enemy early, only if they are within 1500 range of him, to deal the same damage again, and then dash to the final one. If he does not reactivate the ability within any of the 2.5 seconds, he will automatically dash to the next target. Enemies currently being attacked by Vakin can damage him, and so can their allies, but the enemy being attacked will deal 50% reduced damage to Vakin instead. Each hit applies the life steal and bonus damage stacks from Ionic Assault and Livewire. (100/100/100 Mana) (120/110/100 Cooldown) (1300 Range) (1500 Range Maximum)

NOTE: I wanted this ability to be his iconic ability. The way it works, is once you target a champion, you then click the next champ you want to target, then the next. Vakin does not need to target 3 champs, he can target just one if he chooses. This skill works extremely effectively when ganking a teamfight from behind.

QUOTES: {I visualise Vakin to have a sort of unruly, young, male voice.}

As promised here I am to review your champion. As is, I sorta like the abilities. Makes me think of how to synergize my next champion a bit.

To make things simple I'll address everything in order from passive to the ult. ^_^

Passive My calculations are probably wrong (There are a lot of numbers and my brain hurts XD) but from what I gather and the numbers I used (This could definitely change) at max lvl18 and with no attack speed boosts and a AD of 300 (Assuming here, as I am just giving a estimate) and an attack speed of 1 (Rounded up from the .99 your champion has at max level from my math) it would give approx. 230 damage a second (Taking into account the other champions armor) this would be about 18.4 heal every attack which isn't bad at max level. Add into more attack speed and that can get even higher. So imo it is a decent passive and not entirely OP.

Q My question would be this. The heal is fine and everything, as it isn't too much from my calculations. However, does the heal effect the activated ability? If so then that is ridiculously high imo as that is a large heal every 3 seconds, and even without the heal the 3s cooldown static is very low for a high damage ability like that. It would be about 410 or so every 3s and taking into account the reduction of 40% from items would be 1.2s. That is a fast ability and can easily be abused on a pure AD build.

My suggestion would be to increase the cooldown to 15/13/10/7/5s. That would be my suggestion, but just my opinion. It's just supposed to slowly shred an opponent, but with that cooldown it would be a lot faster.

W Not much to say about this ability. From what I gather this is an AD champion, possibly a hybrid. The damage itself is fine and if you take into account opponents MR then it is decent damage. Though the % increase for Pure AP would be very high damage. Especially taking into account magic penetration. Though it is decent imo.

I am seeing a pattern with attack speed though, and I can see it being severely abused with attacks, onhit effects, and livewire.

E Pretty decent. My question though. How does he pass walls? Does he become electricity or is it much like Lucians dash?

R This is quite....interesting. Though, as it is now I think it is a bit insane. Every 0.5s he is dealing at max with my calculations 120(+40)=180*5 (The *5 is because 0.5 goes into 2.5, 5 times.) for a total of 900 per champion. You said yourself. He jumps to the target automatically anyways. This would be 900 and even possibly more damage with higher AD than what I used. That is almost half a champions health if not more with crits added in and damage modifiers from runes and possible Armor penetration and everything to make it more.

If this also activates livewire the heal with be crazy. Couple this with the ability for them unable to attack them? That would be death for almost any and all champions. Imagine this. Hit your W to knock up and slow, followed by a dash from E, and then finish with R. This guarantees a kill because of the immense CC. The knock up and then push back. Followed by an immune ult. The champion would be unable to escape and die. While this is usually good, it should have some counter. Currently I see none besides using the Hourglass, or some other ability to immune them to the damage. Possible CC you, but from what I gather your champion automatically jumps to them despite obstacles.

Final notes

  1. Increase cooldown on that Q. Not too much, but at least a little as it could be abused.
  2. The attack speed boosts are good, but stacking them all over a short period of time could be abused with fast attack speed giving heals. The heals themselves are fine though.
  3. The ult. I would allow the target to be able to target and damage Vakin, or give some kind of counter, and possibly say that he attacks like 3 times within those 2.5s instead of every 0.5s because it can be insane damage to over half the enemy team.

This is of course just my opinion and what I see. Imo, it is a pretty decent champion. A lot of numbers, but not too bad. Just a few tweaks.
