Champion selection?

I've tested out both Fiora , and Zed , and come to the conclusion that I would like to purchase one of them (with IP, which means it'll take a while). Now, I used to main jg/top, but I've started to play a lot of everything, so I'd like you guys to focus on the champions themselves, not the lanes (as I no longer have a preference).

Yes, I have played them both, and both are phenomenal. I'm currently thinking Fiora, as Zed is more mechanics-based, and I've very little practice with mechanics, although it would be a nice learning curve. I've just started ranked (level thirty yesterday), and I'd like to increase my champion pool, then hone-in on some favourites.
