I wish it would be, but Raven we've been in the same spot since the SLL fiasco for over a year now. Riot just doesn't care about making things right.

There hasn't been anything we can do for a long time. We've just been going around in circles ever since without any new info from Riot. Morello has said that they wanted to do Lux right, but still nothing substantial.

I remember after the Steel Legion fiasco that a red said that they were going to make it up to us by making another, proper Lux skin, and even implied it was going to happen "soon," when they explained that they don't usually release more than one skin for a champion within a short frame of time, but that this was going to be an exception. 'Course, they also said that there was going to be more Pulsefire skins, and look at how many of those we've received. I really hope Riot's just been tight-lipped about something so awesome that it's been taking them a long time to make, but sadly I find it much more likely that they aren't going to keep true to their word.

Please no. I've been praying for a new Lux mage/princess/what have you skin since forever. This is WAY too specific and really only appeals to a select minority of Lux players. Every time a thread like this one, "Princess Lux skin", starts one of the first responses is something to do with Sailor Moon. It's not realistic. It will never happen. Downvote me fanboys, but your dreams of a Sailor Moon Lux are exceptionally unrealistic. Especially when it would simply be an improved version of Sorceress Lux.

Please stop asking for Sailor Moon. Not that many people actually care for Sailor Moon (including myself) and it would honestly be catering to a minority group of players with little appeal to the others. All this does is detract from the real point of the thread that can actually be legitimately influential in getting a new Lux skin. RIOT will not release a skin that appeals only to a minority of the champions players.

On topic, I started a thread like this years ago before Steel Legion Lux came out. A red posted and asked us what we wanted and despite many good ideas we got Steel Legion Lux which, admittedly, isn't bad; just not what we really want. I really have no idea why we still don't have a skin like this. It's not necessarily a princess I want, although I believe this skin would fit the look I'm looking for. Lux is a mage. Her lore makes that abundantly clear. Her spells look like they belong to a mage in any fantasy game I've ever played. She has the build and voice for a stereotypical mage. I love Lux. Why is EVERY SINGLE LUX SKIN MILITARY THEMED?????? I do not understand it at all. Post launch skins for Lux were Commando, Imperial, and Steel Legion. Are you serious? Why is every damn skin military themed? She's a Mage. I want to play my Lux wearing something other than some kind of armor set or military uniform. I just don't understand why it's so hard to make my favorite Mage look like a Mage. I'd even pay you for it, RIOT.

Please make my Mage look like a Mage. Even if it's a "Princess Lux" skin so that she's wearing a dress instead of a uniform; I can work with that. Honestly I'd be happy with just no more military themed Lux skins. Please. Anything but that.

The reason a bunch of us want a Sailor Moon skin for her, is because we believe that that is the kind of role that Lux fits into. Lux already fights to defend Demacia, although it would be on her own terms instead of as a rank and file member of the military. She would still have her positive personality, as Sailor Moon is about protecting those that she cares about.

Finally, one of Lux's taunts is pretty much a word for word copy of Sailor Moon's at the start of every fight.

Sailor Moon Lux would pretty much be all the best parts of her while still remaining true to her core character.

Sorry but just because the skin is based on sailor moon does not mean that the skin only appeals to Sailor moon fans, It can appeal to all lux players as long as it looks good.

Need an example? Super galaxy Rumble doesn't only appeal to Guren lagan fans under the Rumble players but also appeal to non-Gurren lagan fans under the Rumble players.

Riot, it would be very much appreciated if we could have a progress report on our Lux skin, so that we know that you are still aware of it. Also, if Lux isn't getting the ultimate skin, please tell us now so that we don't get hyped up over nothing, only to be disappointed when the ult skin is revealed.

I would like to point out that there are a couple of Lux skins that are not military themed - Sorceress and Spellthief. I DO agree that we could definitely use a Princess Lux skin, and I would probably buy it in a heartbeat. I do love my Spellthief Lux though :P

There won't be a princess or any feminine skin for Lux anytime soon you can thank the feminist and white knights. I even wonder if these youngsters of the community remember this hot button item.

The trauma feminist caused to the artists when the boards flared up about this.... Was ridiculous. But it is simply another reason why feminist continue to ruin the presentation of games.

Don't bring GamerGate into this.

That art is really old, and the community was right about wanting it changed. However, that doesn't mean that Riot can't make a feminine skin for her without going too far.

This is a case where you need to find the right balance. Something feminine, yet modest, while still remaining true to her character.

The last poll I saw was before the forums were archived and Dark Lux beat Cheerleader Lux by a small margin, but the 2 were far above the rest of the ideas in popularity iirc. With the feedback on the holiday skin thread Riot posted a few weeks ago, Northern Lights Lux was the top idea and one I can stand behind =X

I'm actually thankful no one was mentioning the Cheerleader idea here. Yes she's a bubbly blonde, but she's actually quite intelligent and doesn't dress slutty like the majority of female characters. A similar, but far better alternative to being a cheerleader would be some sort of marching band baton twirler or something, I think. As for this Northern Lights concept, I don't believe I'm familiar with it. Unfortunately, I cannot find it through the search function to sate my curiosity. =/

It is good to know the same community that drove the artist for Cheerleader Lux to NEVER draw a feminine skin for her again are still about. (We have Sorcerer Lux and Spell Thief Lux from release before the chatter started. And that is how it will remain for feminine Lux.)

God forbid Lux actually shows a little skin or looks appealing.

Expect more Steel Legion Lux skins where the character is covered in armor.

Darius isn't part of any basketball team either.

Her personality shows that she's at least highly ranked in runterra's social ladder you also get confirmation from her lore "She grew up as the family’s only daughter, and she immediately took to the advanced education and lavish parties required of families as high profile as the Crownguards." Which means she had to wear a dress most likely.
