New item for Aatrox

Honestly, Aatrox is really not that bad...but he doesn't get the benefit if super items perfectly syncing with his kit like Irelia does with Trinity Force, or tanks scaling off of all the great armor items. It seems like every mage tank and tons of fighters get the benefit of spell blade. But none of the items that give it are any good for Aatrox.

Item I'm proposing is a Rapier and Main Gauche (a quick light weapon and a defensive parrying dagger). Here are the stats (obviously just a general idea):

50% attack speed 40 Armor 20% cool down

Unique Passive--– Spellblade: After using an ability, your next basic attack (on-hit) deals 100% base attack damage and grants 30% reduction of all incoming damage for 3 seconds.

Or something like that. I think that this item would benefit Aatrox, helping him not have to choose between being tanky, attack speed or AD. With this he can satisfy his attack speed needs in one item and help him not be so squishy due to the bonus armor and damage reduction.

The issue I see (which may be minor at best) is that spell blade passive is attached to all of the Sheen items. Sheen is an item that grants mana, which is useless to Aatrox. Would likely need a different passive name or idea

Wow there's some really bad suggestions on here. First off, Aatrox scales best with AD, not attack speed. Guinsoo's was bad on Aatrox with the OLD patch. Why the fuck would you build it now. Stupidest suggestion I've ever heard. Second Aatrox scales because of the Crazy AD ratio on his heal (below 50%hp). Items that are good on him are Death's Dance, Spirit Visage, Bork, and Anything lifesteal/AD. In certain situations you can build Thornmail, but Aatrox does not scale as a Tank. NOTE: Aatrox does not scale as a tank. His 16 second cooldown skillshot stun is NOT enough CC to merit building tank. Furthermore, if anyone thinks the AP from Guinsoos will benefit Aatrox is completely retarded because the cooldown/dmg of E is worth less than Auto Attacking (which you are doing and stacking in a fight), second his Ultimate is a 1 cast ability and you'll usually cast it at the beginning of the fight, not the end. Which makes the AP totally useless on Aatrox. If you want to make use Aatrox's multiple dmg types thats great. I max E in lanes where my opponent does not use MR, and I surprise him with my ult Nuke as well. If there was some way to get Hybrid Pen into Aatrox's build without sacrifiing AD, you would be fine. However, this is not the case because Runes for Aatrox highly benefit from AD, which scales with Auto's and an amazing heal. Furthermore, having over 300 Aatrox games at Diamond level, there is almost never a time you would go into the cunning tree to get 3 armor pen 3 magic pen. HOWEVER, this gamble can be made as a mid laner at times, as you will be able to gank squishies who may not have resistances. However, overwhelmingly Aatrox benefits from the Runic Armor in Resolve Masteries and Fervor of Battle/Battering Blows.

Aatrox would need some sort of cleanse or tenactity so he can continue to LS as he is mainly AD/AS/LS reliant (Olaf got a similiar strategy of chase and LS, but has a cleanse to do just that) The fact that his Q can be interrupted seems weird as well and might warrant a change.
