This champion can buy 1 of 4 items that upgrade his 1 of his abilities, and changes his visuals. Look from the left model, to the right model. The left model is the champion without any upgrades. The right model is the champion with all the upgrades (Remember, he can only buy one of the items so the player will not be able to look like the model on the right, only partially.)

It's name is Ronik

Passive: Machinery enhance Has 4 buy able items in the store that upgrades his champion visual, and one of his abilities. Also grants Ronik 10/25/40 Movement speed whenever Ronik upgrades his ultimate. Whenever Ronik uses an ability it loses the passive movement speed for 5 seconds.

Q: Exhalo (eggs-all-oh) Latin Range: 155 Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds Mana Cost: 25/35/45/55/65 Visual Effects: The red lever goes in the down position until the ability comes off of cooldown. There is a lever switch sound when first activated, and a steaming sound while the ability is active. Ronik exhausts the steam from its body for 1 second, dealing 30/40/50/60/70 (+0.8 AP) Damage. Then the steam leaves a slowing and burning effect for 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds to all enemies around Ronik and dealing 15/20/25/30/35(+0.3 AP) damage each second the slow is affecting the enemy unit. With all that steam being let loose, Ronik gains 15 movement speed for 2 seconds.

W:Vite (vee-tae) French Range: 65 Cooldown: 7 seconds Mana Cost: 50 at all ranks Visual Effects: Ronik leans more towards where ever Ronik is moving. There is a sound of a fire starting when the ability is active. Ronik puts extra power into its booster gaining 10/15/20/25/30 movement speed for 3 seconds, and dealing 40/45/50/55/60 (+0.35 AP) for the total duration.

E: Encender (En-send-er) Spanish Range: 50 Cooldown: 25/22/19/16/13 Mana cost: 60/65/70/75/80 Visual Effects: Buttons on the button panel are white, then when Encender is activated, the buttons flash different colors for 2 seconds, then they go dark grey as they are powered off until the ability is off cooldown. There is an electrical shortage sound, a glass breaking sound then a power down sound when ability goes on cooldown. Ronik powers up and busts a liquid valve leaving fuel on the ground that slows enemies by 5/7/9/11/13%. The fuel will drip behind Ronik, leaving a trail of fuel for 3 seconds. The fuel will remain on the ground for 6 seconds. When Vite is used over the fuel, it ignites and deals 5/10/15/20/25 (+0.75 AP) for each second the target stands in the fire. Once the fuel is ignited, it no longer slows. Ronik loses 20 movement speed for 3 seconds after Encender is used.

R: Die Blendend (die blend-deen-ed) German Range(Limited vision): global Range(Blind): 350 Cooldown: 200/180/160 Mana Cost: 150/125/100 Visual Effects: Shines its light really bright, and makes a shining sound. Ronik becomes rooted for 3/5/7 seconds as it powers his light to extreme brightness, limiting enemy units vision for 4/6/8 seconds. The light also blinds for 1/2.5/4 seconds, dealing 125/225/325 (+0.3 AP) damage.

Buyable items:

Lore was too big for the comment, so its on this document:

UPDATE: I changed the E from Hablar to Encender. I hope this makes more sense and is more balanced :D

wow i love that! So cool and awesome job man. That was actually really fun to read i'm happy you put that much time into my drawings! Thanks so much it means a lot! You're very creative with your ideas and the lore was so cool to read!!

It was really sad in the end though :c. It would be awesome if heimer and Ronik had special interactions in-game too!

I wanted you to kind of fall in love with Ronik, as Heimer did, before he snapped. I wanted the story to be sweet at the start, then bring you through the ups and downs that I did with the little shelter at the dump. Also, adding the quote that Ronik said as his main quote made me sad because Ronik looked up to his master, and when he was told he was a mistake, you could see in the drawing that you did the sadness in his eye. Its the sadness of loosing his master, the only one he cared for.

Thanks man! When I first saw him, I thought I couldn't ever see him in League of legends, or as even a complete idea. So I went to other posts, but within a few minutes I came back to this. Something about it made me want to do his abilities. The new dynamic of buying items that change your visual drew me in, and with the 2 models you drew, I could picture what Ronik would look like with no items, or any of the items. Thank you for saying you liked it :D

For some odd reason when i was designing him i thought he would be more related to Blitzcrank, just for the fact that they're both robots. But taking the Heimer route was something i didn't expect at all! And it worked so well.

That makes sense. I just saw a machine and I thought Heimerdinger. lol

E: Hablar (ha-blare) Spanish Range(skill shot): 600 Range(After effect): 100 Cooldown: 25/22/19/16/13 Mana cost: 60/65/70/75/80 Visual Effects: Buttons on the button panel are white, then when the Hablar is activated, the buttons flash different colors for 2 seconds, then they go dark grey as they are powered off until the ability is off cooldown. There is an electrical shortage sound, then a power down sound when ability goes on cooldown. Ronik tries to speak but fails, fearing a target for 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds. If any enemy champions are near the target when the fear is applied, they also get feared for .25/.75/1.25/1.75/2.25 seconds.

That last part is a little OP. It also shouldn't be a skill shot, but a short-ranged point and click, in my opinion. Anyway, the part where it fears next to the original target can be devastating. One false move where enemies get close together, and you've just got anywhere from a kill plus fight won, to an ace.

R: Die Blendend (die blend-deen-ed) German Range(Limited vision): global Range(Blind): 350 Cooldown: 200/180/160 Mana Cost: 150/125/100 Visual Effects: Shines its light really bright, and makes a shining sound. Ronik becomes rooted for 3/5/7 seconds as it powers his light to extreme brightness, limiting enemy units vision for 4/6/8 seconds. The light also blinds for 1/2.5/4 seconds, dealing 125/225/325 (+0.3 AP) damage.

This is also pretty OP. Limiting enemy vision and dealing damage to enemies is fine, but blinding everyone in the game is just vile. Especially for up to 4 seconds! Like, did you think about how devastatingly powerful that can be? I mean, all AD champs on the team, or heck, AP AAer's like Diana, Akali, Teemo, Kayle, etc., would be rendered almost useless(except Diana and Akali, or AD casters). Heck, even Rumble when overheated would be useless, and Nautilus's passive wouldn't work. And 4 seconds is just enough to turn a team of 2 AD champs, 1 AP champ, a tank, and a support or other tank, from winning to losing simply by this champion becoming level 6. Even if the AP champ tried to stop them, or the tanks, almost nobody can CC someone down for 4+ seconds, let alone an entire team. Except maybe an Amumu+Bard/Nunu comp... eh. But seriously, even if they did manage to keep a carry on the enemy team down, there would still be all the other enemies, taking them down low while either the AD's ran and their allies died or tried to fight and died.

Either way, devastating.

Hablar:

  1. Fairly long cooldown
  2. Both of the fears are short
  3. Its a skill shot because then it is dodge able and not too op
  4. The second fear is in an AoE around the initial target with only 100 Range (Note, that is smaller than Rek'Sai's unburrow.)
  5. When you buy Button upgrade, it wont root until you have Button Mastery, and even then the enemy can still auto attack.

Die Blendend:

  1. Ronik becomes rooted and cannot cast other abilities, items, or summoner spells (even cleanse zhonyas, or QSS)
  2. QSS will end the blind so AD Carries can still auto attack
  3. QSS is on a shorter cooldown than Ronik's ult, so if played right, you will have QSS every time Ronik tries to ult you.
  4. Ronik stays rooted after the blind, allowing the enemy team to kill him while he as no counter play.
  5. To me, the limited vision is more devastating to me, you cant see your team or the enemy, making the enemy team disoriented.
  6. Ronik will only deal bursty amount of damage with building full ap, so he wont be able to tank through the enemy team.
  7. It has a 350 Range, forcing an assassin to walk into the middle of a teamfight to blind more than one person.

Ronik can be very op, yes but there is still alot the enemy team can do. Lets take your rumble for example. Sure when he burns out he cant do much to Ronik, but Ronik is still rooted after the blind, so once Rumble is cooled off, he can just lay down his equalizer and kill him before Ronik has a chance to run away. So yes, Ronik can deal alot of damage, and has a ton of cc, but only if you build him correctly, but even then he will die easily. I want to thank you for asking about Ronik's abilities, so that I can explain my thought and why I created Ronik the way I did. Thank you for inquiring about Ronik, and allowing me to explain :D

(Sorry this is shorter than I wanted it to be, I had another comment all written out and finished, and I refreshed the page losing my comment :/)

would it be more fair if the blind was for 2 - 2.5 seconds long? What would you recommend?

Yeah. I mean, even Teemo's blind is only 1.5 to 2.5 seconds, and its single target. But seeing as this is an ult and Ronik is essentially self-suppressed it only seems fair.

Enshaedn Embrula1 votes

Yeah I could maybe see that. Or making the max blind 3 seconds. My thought is that if the enemy team lets this assassin get right in the middle of a team fight, they should be punished. If they have good game play, and zone/kite well, they can kill him before the fight even starts.

On another note, I need to change Hablar, because hes shouting a mumble of words, and that isn't really a skill shot idea. I was originally thinking a nut or bolt would fly off and deal damage, but I didn't see it fit. Looking back maybe it should be a small AoE fear, but I just feel like that has been done before, and I wanted to to something new.

I think if Hablar just had a pretty short range(maybe 575, about the norm range for an ADC right?), it could be point-and-click.

Enshaedn Embrula1 votes

yeah but even then the action that Ronik is doing doesn't make sense. He's shouting, and sound doesn't travel straight, it goes everywhere.

Not when you're a robot in League of Legends it doesn't! ;D lol
