With Halloween coming up and kindred just being released I'm surprised they didn't get a harrowing skin on release. Like, they both wear masks, which is something a lot of people do on Halloween. I;m just surprised they didn't get a horror-ish theme
They wouldn't release a themed skin as a first skin of a champ. Usually first skins are champion-specific.
They wouldn't want to make her debut skin a Halloween skin because Halloween skins become irrelevant in like, the middle of April. They're limited and usually legacy so if they gave her a Halloween skin as debut skin, then they would have to get rid of it once it became irrelevant and then Kindred would be left with no skin
