Why is simply not buying the skin an option? If they were to lower the skin price, would you buy it? What about the players who bought it for its legendary price, it is ok to shaft one side as long as the other one gets a deal?

compensate the buyers of that skin because they obviously payed WAY more then it's worth. Making the marketplace more fair and balanced is a great option to make.

Even though this was the scale for legendary back in the day? Give them a full refund on the difference for the changing times of skins? That is just bad business and would lead to hemorrhaging money. While Riot needs to stay in good grace's with the players, just giving away free money willy nilly isn't lucrative in the long run.

There were a few Legendary skins reduced to 1350 a while back, when the price tiering system received more concrete definitions. I believe Astronaut Teemo, Lion Dance Kog'Maw, and Piltover Customs Blitzcrank (Were there any more? I can't remember precisely.) were all lowered to 1350, and previous owners were refunded the difference of 470, because Legendary skins don't ever go in the weekly sales.

That was probably a one-time thing, though. My guess is that the plan for current Legendary skins that don't seem to qualify for that tier is that they'll be updated eventually, rather than repriced.

The problem isn't that its a 750 skin disguised as 1850 skin. The problem is that its an 1850 skin in desperate need of a Visual Update. His kit probably needs some tweeks as well, like a skill-shot.

How is it anything like a 750? It's got new voice over, new effects, ect. 750s are a recolor pretty much as they put a different outfit on the champion.

It has a new voice over. that's about it. When he ults you see tiny sparks, I'm 100% sure those sparks aren't worth 20 dollars.

Yes, you have it figured out. That is the correct answer "Cosmetic changes to a game character or weapon are not worth real money". Now you don't have to waste your money on skins again.
