Champion Concept: Ivalice, The Candle Knight

Description: Ivalice stands at 5ft 8. Its white hair, pale skin and lifeless eyes rest atop an iron clad body of milky white armour forged over an ash black skirt. Ivalice carries a 6ft tall candle as its weapon. Ivalice's candle always remains lit. The little fire that dances upon the wick has no name, but carries an identity. The Sol. It cast its first shadow in a time before the great kingdoms; upon creatures that mostly no longer walk Runeterra. Even in those times it mastered a vessel to bare its power, a beautiful woman clad in white and made of wax.

Goals: Ivalice is small but powerful. Its massive candle leaves a dent in even the thickest of armoured behemoths, and the Sol burns even the most nimble fighters who dare to dance with its shadow. Ideally it would fall into the juggernaut class, though it will have mobility to get around as a fighter, it will have reasonable abilities and exploitable weaknesses to balance it all out.

Primary stats: Ad, Crit, Health, Armour.

Abilities: Passive: Wax and Wane. -Ivalice has a second bar beneath its health bar in place of mana. This bar is 1/4 of its max health and represents the candle. Ivalices abilities costs are applied to the candle bar, and shorten the size of the candle, reducing AA range. Candle bar recovers at 1/4 Ivalices heath recovery rate.

Ivalice takes double damage from Ignite and any other burn damage (Liandries, Red Buff...Ect), but gains a 50% AD increase. Q: Candle Slam.

CD: 5 Seconds all ranks.

Cost: 40 candle health. (candle will start with atleast 400 health)

A- Ivalice jumps straight up into the air, the Sol sets off a burst of flame launching them back into the ground creating a small circular impact. Targets in the center are stunned, targets on the edge are pushed away.

Impact circle and damage are reduced as the candle grows smaller.

W: Be Nimble, Be Quick.

CD: 20,19,18,17,16 seconds

Cost: 100 candle health.

A- Ivalice thrusts in a target direction as the Sol reaches out its hand from the end of the candle. If the hand connects to a champion, Ivalice will leap and pull itself through the air to a point slightly behind the target. Ivalices next AA will crit.

P- Ivalices critical strikes hit the ground making a small shockwave (a Teemo and a quarter) of Sols fire in the direction they're facing.

E: Song of Glow.

CD: 15,14,13,12,11 seconds.

Cost: 10% total candle health.

A- Ivalice puts the candle on its shoulder and readies itself. The Sol launches a small sun from the end of the candle in a target direction. The sun will burst if it hits an enemy champion, or will burst on its own if it travels far enough (about 5 Teemos)

R: Flicker.

CD: 120,130,140 seconds.

Cost: All remaining candle. A- The Sol consumes all but the wick of Ivalices candle and travels out on its own for 5-15 seconds in its true form (depending on candle lenght at activation), a shooting star. The Sol cannot be CC'd or damaged. The Sol has no AA and only one ability, a dash in a straight line damaging all enemies in its path. If the Sol cannot return to Ivalice, or Ivalice takes enough damage to die, the Sol will go out at the end of the 15 seconds causing the champion to die.

Gameplay -The ideal combo for Ivalice would be to land W, after landing initiate a Q for the stun or push back, AA until distance is made and then E or R for the kill. -Flicker would be an ability to initiate a team fight leaving Ivalice under a turret for protection as the Sol dashes into the enemy to disrupt their formation or harass their carry. -Taking double damage from Ignite and Red buff would allow for constant accessible counter play to harass or secure a kill on Ivalice, so long as you're willing to risk buffing the extra damage. -Building Crit/AD to make the most of W's passive will rob Ivalice of resources such as health and regen to keep her candle bar big and refilling, so Ivalice will almost have to build some tank to keep the skills flowing.

Interactions Most of Ivalices interactions will happen through the Sol talking to or about things around himself, as Ivalice is just animated wax and not really alive.

Joke: "You look fat!" Ivalice grows a huge belly and looks at the Sol before starting to spin the candle rapidly above its head. The Sol cries "JANE! Stop this crazy thing!" before Ivalice sets the candle back down, reverts to normal size and the Sol sighs "I need friends"

"Why the long face?" Ivalices face droops to her knees and she spins the candle again, this time the Sol cries "I think I'm gonna hurl! Can i hurl? Yep I can definately retches"

Backing: The candle breaks apart into a circle of floating candles. Ivalice begins to waltz to the song of a classical piano played in the distance, casting shadows from the Sol lighting up on random candles, almost dancing with it.

Taunt Ivalice thrust the lit end of the candle, then spins and thrusts the other. The Sol jumps to the thrusted end and back to the wick. "You shouldn't light your candle on both ends, you're just gonna get burned even faster. "Sometimes I light the darkness, other times I knock out your lights.

Skins -Primal Fire Ivalice: A cave woman themed skin with lots of furs. The candle is a long wooden torch with the Sol burning at the top. -Surprise Party Ivalice: Lots of colors and ribbons, the candle would have a spiral pattern with a small cupcake at the base. -Menora Ivalice: Her armour becomes gold with a blue dress. The basin of the candle would have a small menora on it, and Ivalice would shape shift into a draedel during her back animation.

Reveal Cinimatic

A sky shot looks over a darkened English style village/town, the moon puts off a milky glow from beneath heavy clouds. You see a slight bluish glow in an alley between two buildings. You zoom in to see a small boy in the center of the glow, reflected in his eyes you see another human being devoured by a large amorphous creature with yellow eyes and a huge jagged mouth. From above its mouth hangs an antennae with a small glowing orb on the end.

The child screams and runs down the alley as the blob bursts into motion after him. The child sobs madly as he runs through the darkness. He looks ahead to see a soft orange light at the end of the tunnel. He runs for it, and as he gets closer, sees the silhouette of a woman with a massive candle.

The woman breaks out into a sprint twards the boy and leaps into they air over him. Her candle bursts flames from the end that rocket her twards the beast, before she slams her candle into its head. The beast screams as another head forms from its back. She slams it with a flame burst from the candle as more heads form from the blob body.

The woman smashes every head spawned, and the creature tries to retreat. She readies the candle on her shoulder and fires an orb at the creature. The orb reaches its target and explodes sending flames bursting from the top and far end of the alley. She turns to look at the child and points the flame of her candle twards him.

The fire forms three eyes and a mouth before breathing in and spitting out a small star. The star floats over the child's head casting a bright light. "Run home, it's not safe to be out in the dark" the flame says softly.

The child runs away, looking back a few times to see the woman become a silhouette, then a glow, and then gone in the thick darkness again.
