Champ Concept: Hope - The Ghost from Tomorrow
Been a while, all. Know what? Since Riot decided to recon the lore "to explore" Runeterra, they havent delivered anything in terms of any story to go with what's going on, or begin to explain rivalries. So I decided to kick-start a story arc with my champion.
Lore:
_"I walk a thin line between life, and death everyday. I want to hate what's going on as much as humanly possible, but i can not. A small part of me finds my life fun, after all, it's all i know. But, what about the weak? This war has waged on far too long, and I can no longer Ignore their dying cries... something must be done, before all that is good gets eradicated. And, so, to all who this letter concerns my friends, and every one else in my Unit I've made up my mind. _
While exploring In the ruins of Piltover, I found a wondering man, named Zilean. He told me many stories, many things about life before temporary time technology became the norm. He told me the name of the one who caused it all on D day, 400 years ago. He also told me something very important, he had the capabilities of fully reversing time with this thing called "Magic" and if we could amplify it, he could send me back in time.
_We found a man who specializes in accelerators and temporal technology.... he agreed to help us. and I chose to go. So to all my comrades, Im going back in time to stop this war, before all is lost. Before i leave, the man gave me something I've never had - a name. From here on out, I am Hope. Pray for a better tomorrow." _
.... Hope was born 400 years in the dystopian future, to a mother who died during childbirth.. she barely survived if not for the passing by of a general from the Resistance Military... The future was ravaged by a war that came about over the influence of a technology that can temporarily distort time/space. There was, however, a deeper meaning in effect that triggered the war - magic vs technology. It appears that in this current day, someone using technology wishes to see about the end of all magic on Runeterra. Ironically, enough the one who assisted him in most of his projects before being betrayed, was none other than the mage, Veigar....
**She now lives for one sole purpose. To Free the future, and stop the awakening of this technology. **
Hope is an AD melee fighter who is quick on her feet. her resource is "energy" as she can only do what her technology allows. She wields an axe shaped like an hourglass that she uses to engage with. she makes an excellent duelist, but it's still best to build her healthy as she is quite squishy
her abilities are as follows.
**Passive: Temporal Rejuvenation ** if Hope's health drops to 0, she instantly receives half of her health back. All counters on are reset. She can not regain any more health while in this state. Temporal rejuvination Can not trigger again for the rest of this life.
210 second cooldown.
Q: Delayed Axe to Grind: 18/15/13/11/9 second cooldown (starts after detonation) Hope swings her axe and hits her opponent. Her "Time Tech. Axe" knocks back the opponent, and places a counter on them, that builds up over time (max 5 seconds). when reactivated the inflicted opponent will recieve damage based off how long the damage charge was, and Hope will heal herself for the damage caused.
W: Retraced steps. 20 energy per activation 15/14/13/12/9 second cooldown. First activation: Places a marker on the ground exactly where Hope is standing currently. this marker lasts for 6 seconds.
second activation: Hope flashes to the marker after a 1 second delay.
** E: Mach speed:** 20/18/15/10/8 second cooldown. costs 40 Energy Hope attacks 30/35/40/45/60% faster. for 4 seconds. if she attacks an opponent 3 times, during this effect, she leaves a lingering friction burn on the opponent for 5 seconds.
** R: DETONATE: ** 120 second cooldown at all ranks. cost 100 Energy.
Passive: Marks an Ememy with an hourglass marker whenever she attacks. This can be placed on a maximum of 3 enemies, and lasts for 12 seconds. If Hope dies the marker disappears.
Active: Hope will deal (55% x 2) of the damage she's dealt to the marked opponents over the last 10 seconds as a burst (scales off AD). this burst ignores 30% of the targets armor.
**as usual balancing would need to be applied, as the numbers i presented are just to paint a picture. **
