I'm sure everyone has thought of a Mario/Yoshi skin for Kled and Skaarl, but Riot's been all "Nintendo would sue us". Can't they just spoof it and give it enough differences to make it an homage rather than a ripoff?
Riot's made homages to other games and stuff before. Yellow Jacket Shen and Frozen Shen are references to Mortal Kombat. The Prehistoric skins are shout outs to Jurassic World. Chosen Master Yi is a reference to Star Wars. The Beast Hunter skins are references to Monster Hunter.
They could find a way to make one, if they want to, even if it were just a Chroma for the base Kled that made Skaarl green.
Riot also has to be careful not to step on any toes when creating skins. They obviously don't want legal issues for copyright infringement. But it would be cool to see.
