[Champion Concept] Yichi, the Last Tamer
Lore: There are still dragons tamers about, but none of them are on the caliber of Yichi. While some trainers just have their dragons around for decoration or defense, Yichi can utilize his own magics in a way that is quite difficult to teach. Yichi is an extremely old tamer, despite appearing quite young, he is the last known dragon tamer than can bind their soul to a dragon's. Along with his companion, Binlu, an ice dragon, Yichi travels runeterra in a last ditch effort to revive his lost culture: Yishilong. While Yichi has used dragon magic to extend his and Binlu's life, the problem is not many people are willing to connect their soul with a dragon, and with even that little people, there are even less dragons around, much less, ones willing to also link their soul.
Yichi hailed from Ionia, generations ago, when Yishilong was still a prominent culture. The trainings were simple. Students were to be brought together with a dragon to bond with, and then their souls would be linked. This process, however, could prove to be dangerous. There are accounts of people going insane due to soul deprivation syndrome, a condition that occurs when a persons soul is broken. The Yishilong people didn't seem to mind however, until they realized that their community was beginning to decline. Less and less people were willing to bind their soul, and the culture died. Yichi was the last Yishilong who had a soul bound to a dragon. Desperate, he began to research souls, and developed a way to bind souls together with no risk of breaking any soul. However, he was too late. No one was willing to try, and Yishilong was left alone. Generations passed, as Yichi continued to bring in students, but by then, he was just referred to as an old fool. It was then that Yichi gave up with the Ionians, and left for runeterra. While Yishilong people are required to be Ionian, Yichi decided that for the sake of his culture's survival, he would take anyone.
Yichi and Binglu joined the League of Legends to showcase their Yishilong abilities, and luckily, have brought in a few followers.
Role: Fighter, mage, tamer
Passive: Binlu, the Ice Dragon: Yichi's max HP is split in half, the other half of which, is given to Binlu. If either one of them dies, the other will ressurected right next to the other with full HP after 8 seconds out of combat. Replacing their mana bar is a calibration bar. Each time Yichi casts an ability or makes a basic attack, Binlu will also cast the same after a delay. The delay gets shorter the more calibration they have, and at max calibration, Yichi and Binlu are granted 70% attack speed and their cool downs recharge twice as fast for 6 seconds as well as Binlu attacking at the same time with Yichi. Yichi and Binlu lose calibration when not attacking. They lose it faster if they are out of combat. Yichi's basic attacks and abilities scale with AD while Binlu's basic attacks and abilities scale with AP.
Q: Manifest Breath Attack: Yichi fires a blast of cold energy in a line, dealing magic damage to the first enemy hit and slowing them. Binlu fires another blast of cold energy at the same area, but his attack is stronger and as an AoE with no slow.
W: Retention: Yichi throws a small chunk of ice at target enemy, dealing physical damage. Binlu jumps onto the target and clings to them, dealing magic damage over time and restoring Yichi's HP based on how much damage is done as well as stunning the target for 1 second.
**E: Blow over: **Yichi increases his attack speed for several seconds. Binlu blows a wave of frost in a cone, dealing magic damage and causing all enemies affected by this ability to take a percent of the damage inflicted to them as additional true damage.
R: Yishilong Ascendance: Passive: Yichi and Binlu gain calibration faster. Additionally, Yichi gains AD based on how much AP he has, and vice versa. This does not stack infinitely.
Active: Yichi and Binlu match their stance and increase their soul connection. For the next 4 seconds, stats gained from this ability's passive are doubled, and the calibration bar is treated as full. Additionally, an aura of ice surrounds Yichi and Binlu, slowing the attack speed and movement speed of all enemies in the AoE.
