My name is DR. Ivan Quasar. I am a medical scientist, and I have recently cured death. By restructuring the physical and genetic structure of an individual, I can effectively cure any disease, heal any wound, and extend a life indefinitely! Of course, the human form is too… fragile to stay unharmed for very long. Which is why I’m on a noble quest to change the world, or at least, the people in it… You can probably see where I’m going with this… This poor village was struck by a plague not but a few days ago, and rough calculations would suggest that at least 30% of the population would have died without my assistance. Those “monsters” you have been slaughtering, the ones begging for your mercy. They ARE the villagers who you came here to save, and their minds are completely intact. They did not ask for my help, and to tell you the truth, they probably didn't want it either. But I saved them anyway, and they are better off because of it. Or at least they were... until you showed up. Now I don’t blame you for making hasty assumptions, but please refrain from thoughtlessly labeling someone a “monster” if their physical stature deviates from what's "normal". Because you will be seeing a lot more… diversity, in the upcoming years. So in the future try not to kill anyone unless you know for sure that the poor thing has lost its mind and soul. I would have liked to tell you this in person, but people are dying, and I cannot waste any more time.
