Introduction

Hello everyone! I wanted to introduce an adc concept that hopefully will give Riot ideas for a new and unique adc. My concepts are generally not very popular, but I hope that they help contribute to the better concept designers here in the forums and working at Riot.

Name: Amalia (Uh-Ma-Lee-Yah) Occupation: Vindicator/Private Investigator/Bounty Hunter/Fugitive Hunter Age: 25 Faction: Independent

Champion Lore No one saw her coming! No one! Our look out was dead before anyone knew it. We didn't even hear leaves rustling. Everyone fled in different directions when Toby went down but I hid! I couldn't even follow her blade with my eyes. Those who fled were hit by something round... like a chakram. She chased after the others and I heard screams from each and every one of them. She must not have noticed me because she did not come back. Please. I don't want to go back out there! I won't run away again! Please! Keep me here with you! Terrified Old Rapist who escaped with many others in a prison break

Basic Stats Health: 545 Mana: 250 Attack Range: 600 Attack Damage: 48 Attack Speed: 0.625 Armor: 25 Magic Resist: 30 Movement Speed: 330

Abilities Passive: Amalia can not use her auto attacks or Chakram on targets that are within 300 units of her. You must use the attack move hotkey to throw your "first" Chakram. Amalia's auto attack mechanic is unique as her first auto attacks work like skill shots. She must choose a direction in which to throw her chakram. The Chakram will only travel to the point where the cursor was at, but can travel a maximum of 600 units. If the Chakram hits nothing, it will remain on the ground until picked up. If the Chakram hits a wall, it will bounce towards the nearest enemy unit (within 600 units of the bounce point) or it will return to Amalia. It will continue to bounce towards enemies within 200 units of the last bounce target until there are no more within 200 units or it has hit 5 targets before returning to Amalia.

Only her first Chakram throw will bounce and gain bonus effects from her Q and her E. Picking up her Chakram or receiving her Chakram when it returns to her will reset this making her next auto attack a first Chakram throw.

Each bounce modifies the damage by -5% per bounce. The damage reduction can be modified by attack speed and will receive a positive +1% for every 5% bonus attack speed maxing out at 20% bonus damage.

**Q: Agile Chakram **CD: 12/11/10/9/8 Mana: 50/55/60/65/70 Amalia increases the travel and bounce speed of her next Chakram throw by 20/40/60/80/100%.

**W: Close Call **CD: 30/28/26/24/22 Mana: 30/35/40/45/50 Amalia uses her inhuman reflexes to cause the next attack on her to just graze her reducing the damage of the next incoming attack within 0.3/0.4/0.5/0.6/0.7 seconds by 90%. She is refunded the cool down and mana cost if she succeeds. This can occur up to 3/4/5/6/7 times.

**E: Summon Chakram **CD: 20/18/16/14/12 Mana: 10 at all levels Amalia can call her Chakram back to her even if it hasn't hit anything yet. The Chakram will immediately reappear in her hands essentially resetting her auto attack.

R: Vindicator CD: 2 seconds Mana: 0 Amalia begins with 1 rank in Vindicator. Passive: Amalia gains 20/40/60% bonus movement speed whenever her Chakram is away from her until she picks it up or whenever she is running towards an enemy with their backs to her. Additionally, she also deals 60/80/100% bonus damage whenever she attacks an enemy who has their backs turned to her. This bonus damage effect can only occur once every 10/9/8 seconds.

Active: Amalia switches to a melee stance gaining new QE abilities.

Melee Q: Divert CD: 8/7/6/5/4 Mana: 0 Amalia uses her dual blades to release forth a mysterious energy in an arc the same size as Grave's Q that diverts all enemy units facing the energy to walk in the opposite direction essentially turning their backs to her. This deals 40/50/60/70/80 magic damage and the effect lasts 0.5/0.7/0.9/1.1/1.3 seconds.

**Melee E: Backwards Vault **CD: 10/9/8/7/6 Mana: 0 Amalia vaults backwards putting herself at the minimum auto attack range from her previous destination as specified for her in her passive and gains 5/10/15/20/25 bonus damage on her next "first" Chakram throw.

The idea behind this concept was to make an ADC who requires good positioning and mechanical skill to fully utilize the damage potential. Her melee abilities are strictly for distancing herself from melee aggressors.

Her long range is countered by her inability to auto attack at 300 units unless she changes to melee stance or gets further away. Her W is to help her survive when she needs to buy time to escape or put distance between herself and her aggressor. It has a very short time window so it requires precision. One mistake and you are facing a massive cool down with virtually no other escape.

This concept is not perfect, but I hope it gives ideas to the better designers. I welcome feedback and constructive criticism.

I think her passive/attack mechanic needs work.

She can't attack in melee range or any range below normal range attack range. Making her defenceless against melee champions or any champions that decides to get close to abuse this. There's this tedious mechanic of aiming with your mouse. in fast reaction situations or in team fights, this is going to be very difficult to pull off, and it's just her auto attack. Her range isn't even that far, equal to Anivia or Ashe attack range, and they can auto attack at any range. You gave her a chance to miss, and if she does, it lays on the ground. and then what? when can she attack again? Only when it bounces off the wall does it auto target enemies nearby, if there is none, it will return to her. this bouncing thing, it's like Sivir ricochet, but as a basic auto attack mechanic and its always on and free.

I think this is broken as a passive and needs to be replaced/reworked/removed.

Q - travel and bounce speed only? not even damage, so it;s an attack speed buff in general. Weak. W - you gave her micro seconds of a chance to reduce, not even block, just reduce 1 attack in a micro second, for 90% reduction, can happen up to seven times, but it cost mana to cast or toggle on? this is a weird one, another inconsistency. E - Facepalm. much easier if it was just a regular auto attack to begin with AND you would have space for another ability. R - should have mention this in the beggining... Replace "backs to her" with "not facing her" this opens 3 areas it will work, rather just one.

R/Q - like a reverse charm or just a fear?

"she also deals 60/80/100% bonus damage whenever she attacks an enemy who has their backs turned to her. This bonus damage effect can only occur once every 10/9/8 seconds." this should be her actual passive.

R/E - this is another weird one

So many problem's with the champion right now. in one sense, she's like a weird version of sivir, and then you have this Tryndamere mocking shout mechanic.

I would restart entirely, the only thing i liked was the dual blades fear/charm and the not facing mechanic. The rest, Sivir does it better.
