A Hextech Marksman Support Idea (heavy WIP)

Ashe and Miss Fortune have both seen play in the support role, and I was thinking about how this is an interesting take on support. You have your mages and tanks, but not a tried and true marksman built for it. Riot also made a support champion for the jungle with Ivern, a unique champion in a role where you wouldn't think a support would ever truly fine a home in. So, I want to build a marksman-support champion that focuses on hextech technology as part of their kit for what they do. As it says in the title, this will be a heavy WIP, as such I will be updating this throughout the day and re-posting the next day or day after with hopefully more details.

The current idea is for the champion to create zones for their team work with. The closest existing champion example would be Sona's auras, but functions more like Jarvan's Damacian Standard where you place it down instead of it moving with you.

Any and all feedback or suggestions will be much appreciated. I'll be thinking through today about the kit myself to see if a vision can be formed, but please feel free to throw out your own suggestions in the comments for the kit too. Remember, this champion will be a hextech based marksman-support that creates zones using hextech items to assist your team.

Thank you for your time and any feedback given.

With a marksman, their auto attacks would still have to be their primary focus.

I think Sona is a good starting point, with her empowered auto attacks, though those only come every three spells, and she is still primarily focused on using her spells. I like the idea of different spells affecting how your auto attacks work, like slowing, doing less damage, burning, depending on what ability is active/was last used. It could either be a toggle or 'your next auto attack' thing.

Iceborn gauntlet creates a frozen circle if you hit someone after an ability, maybe the champions auto attacks could be empowered that way? instead of doing extra damage/stuff to an enemy champion, you create a zone that will benefit your allies. these effects could charge similarly to how Sona's does.

Ezreal and Jayce both have abilities that speed up allies if they shoot allies/allies pass through them. Both are from Piltover, the mother of hextech :0 I guess having skill shots that work differently whether shot at enemies/allies would work.

Throwing things down to help allies, makes me think of like a Thresh latern that shields, and also that circle from nexus siege that lets your allies flash indefinitely for a short while. This could be an ability that is just literally showing down an object that creates a field with some positive benefit, but what it does depends on the rest of the kit.
