[Champion Concept] Journey, Nature's Martyr

The Elderwood spirits use to inhabit the many forests of Runeterra, but the deforestation and pollution brought about by the warring kingdoms of Valoran had caused the once plentiful and benevolent spirits to wither and grow cruel.

When Journey was spawned she quickly took up the mantel of guardian of her forest. Her pride and determination lead her forest to outshining the rest, which drew the eyes of all the creatures, for good or ill.

Men from the industrial kingdoms took interest in her forest's unusually plentiful bounty. They began to rip the trees and roots from the ground, drawing the life energy from them and then burning the husk to power their machines which defiled the land and pollute the air.

Soon her once glorious forest became little more than a pasture, surrounded by a sea of muck and smog. It was then she denounced the title of guardian and plunged her roots deep into the filth. She ripped the death and decay from the earth and sky, taking into her beautiful spirit the putrid waste of man.

She formed a new body from man's waste and used it to destroy the unholy machines and metal buildings that destroyed her home. Now she wanders Valoran, pulling the pollution of man from the world around her and using it to lay waste to any who would dare harm nature.

"They know not the disease they wrought."

While she has zero "Rot" https://s12.postimg.org/wb06355ml/e4d52dcfafb0bdc6602ff6f3a0113e7a.png

Melee Manaless Juggernaut/Control

Passive - Rotting Martyrdom: Instead of Mana, Journey builds up a resource known as **Rot **from units around her dying, double for near by allied champions, but instead of being a separate bar it acts like a shield, the amount scaling with a % of her max health and a % of any extra mana she has. Her size also increases the larger % of **Rot **she has.

Q - Absorbing Touch: Upon activation, her next basic attack against an enemy will deal bonus physical damage. She is then healed over time for the damage she dealt. Journey may then attack an allied unit, giving them the same healing bonus to her allied attack target.

  • While Contaminating: The damage becomes True damage and the ally's heal applies automatically to all allies in the **Contaminated **area.

W - Pillars of Filth: Journey forms a triangle of pillars at a target area, consuming all the **Rot **she currently has, which poisons and slows all enemies in the triangle, the duration scales with the amount of **Rot **she put into it. Recasting this ability will cause Journey to dash to the closest pillar and absorb them, removing the pillars and refunding the remaining Rot.

  • While Contaminating: The triangle of pillars now forms walls of filth between the pillars that enemies can not pass through, but the walls may be attacked and destroyed by enemies.

E - Purify: Journey spends her Rot, gaining increased movement speed and tenacity, the duration scales with the amount of Rot she put into it. Recasting this ability will disable it, refund the remaining Rot. Once this ability ends, Journey will be slowed for a few seconds. While under the effect of Purify, her basic attacks grant vision on her target for several seconds and they gain a **Purified **debuff, which decreases the duration of (non-ultimate)buffs the enemy has or gets while under this effect.

  • While Contaminating: She gains increased attack speed, and her attacks also apply Grievous Wounds to her attack targets.

R - Contaminate: Journey roots herself for several seconds, maximizing her **Rot **and **Contaminating **the area around her, the size of which scales with the maximum amount of **Rot **she has. She gains bonus attack range and cast range, equal to the size of the area Contaminated. While rooted, her abilities have drastically reduced cooldowns, gain bonus effects, and no longer cost Rot. If recast, or her **Rot ** shield is broken, this ability ends early.

Quotes:

A near by ally dies. "I let you down.... but I will make them hurt."

Moving "groans in pain .... It never stops"

Attacking "Focus on the pain... there's nothing else left"

Taunting a near by Trundle "In another life, I feel this could have been you."

Joke "Whats sad but healthy? Dying... I lied about it being healthy." "Why aren't my people good chefs?.... because they're dead."

Friends: Ivern Maokai Trundle

I am too tired to read through this right now, I will bookmark it for tomorrow. Just came here to throw out a "You can never have too many plant people." joke.

Passive/mechnic: Manaless but "being separate bar, it acts like a shield, the amount scaling with a % of her max health and a % of any extra mana she has." @__@ ;; so is it like Malphite shield or Mordekeiser meter?

Q - Overloaded. deal damage and heal over time based on damage dealt AND heal allies + Cleansing them. Pick one or the other, not both. Consider what your saying Rot/Decay = Healing?

W - Overloaded. You gave an AOE slow and DOT + reactivation for a dash and Rot refund.

E - are you saying this is a toggle effect? Movement speed and Tenacity + some sort of debuff on enemy allied buffs.

R - "No longer cost Rot." aside from that, interesting, a mix of Xerath's ult with ability buff's tied to it.

it's an okay concept, needs a few tweaking here and there for clarity and balance.

Uhm... how can she have extra mana and also be mana less?
