Definitely Naut Blitzcrank.

If the naming causes programming issues they can always change the name in the code. In client just make the actual champ name in the skin description all caps.

Blitz ult would have him smash the ground with the pick-axe causing a ground tremor. Naut would use electrical discharges in his abilities. Ult would have him punch the ground and send and electrical charge underground that zaps and causes the enemy champ to jump. The grab-abilities would still interact with champs the way they do without the skins.

Jokes apart, you deem that you are the standard, I see. But some people don't have the same neurology you have, and don't see as many details as fast as you, or don't have such a visual memory. Or simply can't afford a huge screen. I personally can't tell some shen skins from TF or Jhin in a teamfight.

You should know who you're against in game since it tells you in the loading screen and on the scoreboard.

"in a teamfight". 30 minutes in, you can have forgotten who's on the other side of the map. In particular in intense moments like a skirmish with people coming in and out of fog of war constantly.

I think the better argument is "while it wouldn't be common now, top naut, support blitz with both running the skin to make them look similar might become an actual cheese strat and that's not something that should be knowingly created."

The "I forgot" argument doesn't hold as much weight imo. I wouldn't argue that when I forget Zhonyas in a team fight or something bc it's not a skill I always have and so sometimes I forget I finished it already it could be anything except user error. If I forget who I'm playing against it seems like that would be just as much my fault as not knowing a jungle match up and getting invaded as Amumu by an early power jungle like Nid or Lee. Yeah there is some factor other than me playing poorly (opponent uses their power spike right, team doesn't ward, no one collapses, skin is confusing and looks similar), but at the end of the day it is also something that is reasonably manageable and a similar issue to many others that players deal w/ every game if they want to win more games.

In a teamfight, 30 minutes in, if you can't tell who you're fighting it's not going to matter what skin they're wearing: you're still not going to be able to tell.

Yes. So someone of your particular dilemma of being completely unable to tell which champion is which unless you are completely zoomed in is not going to change regardless of the skin.

anyway, that argument could be ignored when warden sivir came out, do to her similarites with diana, but the skin came out without alterations, so it can be ignored now.

Battlecast skins. Mecha skins. Any skin that is the same color. Champions who are the same color regardless of skins. Champions who are the same size. Champions who aren't a 6 stack Cho'gath or 7000 HP Zac with full Zoom.

The guy trying to argue that this would mess with clarity would have a problem with any of the above situations. He probably needs better eyesight than he currently has.

Did you not look at the picture? It's really obvious which is which.

You might be able to argue that you'd confuse the Blitz version of Naut for Sub Naut, but if you have such trouble with "clarity" that you can't even tell which champion is which when anyone is ever wearing a skin, maybe this isn't the game for you.

People buy skins. Are you going to complain to Riot that it's game-breaking when you fight a team with matching skins from a set? Seriously, you ARE just bad if you can't tell which is which.

You're not speaking in general. The problem of confusing champions for other champions because of skins is one that stops anyone who has it from playing the game at all, or any game in general because video games aren't marketed to the blind.

Again, if you'd have this problem with either of the skin concepts in the original post, than you must have it any time any champion looks like another or has a skin that resembles another. You should not be playing this video game if that is the case. It's clearly beyond your vision capabilities.

Would be different enough to be able to tell that one is obviously not the other. Particularly from their heads. There are other champs that look similar when in skins anyway so this shouldn't be an issue.

Unfortunately this would be quite a localization-nightmare, but I already heard of this concept and, loving both those champs (yay for yellow tanks!) i really like this Idea.

Also, i love love love the lightning on Naut's chest <3 xD
