Was just in an aram game against 3 adcs and built 
for the armor and ap. That was it for defense cause nothing else gives ap and armor.
Just saying that ad items have 
for cc removal 
to negate an entire spell 
for a death negate shield.
I know zhonya's is versatile and all but im not going to want to build 2 or 3 just so i can get armor and ap in one

Edge of night is a garbage version of banshee's veil that you have to channel the shield which only lasts 3 seconds for.
i agree, especially because zhonyas is bought almost exclusively for the active, and would still be bought against full AP teams. an actual AP/armor item could be good for build diversity and give an actual choice to make against AD.

we should have several AD+Armor and AP+Armor items tbh. this department is lacking.

Why do you always need it to have damage? Why not just buy an Armor item?

Designed for the bulkier battle mages. Zhonya's more for burst mages who wait for cooldowns while in stasis. This one is for those who constantly are in the thick of things.

Why not just buy one purely defensive item...? You don't have to do a six-damage-items-glass-cannon build.
