Was just in an aram game against 3 adcs and built 
for the armor and ap. That was it for defense cause nothing else gives ap and armor.
Just saying that ad items have 
for cc removal 
to negate an entire spell 
for a death negate shield.
I know zhonya's is versatile and all but im not going to want to build 2 or 3 just so i can get armor and ap in one

Evil Yasuo1 votesYou can't channel it in a fight though you fool, it would cancel-get no shield AND go on cooldown. No one is going to wait till she E's, run into a bush to channel it then run back out at her in hopes she didn't just follow.
Partybringer1 votesNot sure why banshee's was even brought up, and i never said Edge of night was good. I just like options rather than building zhonya's cause i'm up against ANY ad mid laner. I get that some items hard counter certain champs like

, but Zhonya's is the mage item for ALL ad midlaners.
Like i said i just like variety instead of having one option against all ad laners

If I sound a little biased, it's because i'm a bit mad adc's and tanks are once again ruining lethality to the point people are making tons of threads about nerfing it. If it were up to me, i'd create a ap item that when taken large amounts of burst in a quick succession, you get a shield similar to maw. Or maybe a lower ap item with armor that when activated, puts your qwe on usability if they're currently on cooldown.

Tohob1 votesi agree, especially because zhonyas is bought almost exclusively for the active, and would still be bought against full AP teams. an actual AP/armor item could be good for build diversity and give an actual choice to make against AD.

Designed for the bulkier battle mages. Zhonya's more for burst mages who wait for cooldowns while in stasis. This one is for those who constantly are in the thick of things.
