How do you beat Graves?

I have no idea to beat him, pretty much every game i see him he gets fed and solos the whole team. Really the only champ i have a major issue with

I know no one cares about 3's, but Graves has been a god tier pick on TT for years now (in every single role) and Riot seems to be okay with that. The favoritism is strong with this champion.

Most champions are balanced around Rift, look at ARAM Veigar and Sona are walking gods.

Don't try to 1v1 him as melee first off. (He gets free DPS steroid w/ shotgun to your face) He is a caster ADC, and builds like one, even when jungled. So expect him to be able to dump quite a lot of burst, and have pretty good sustained DPS. He is a bit tankier than most squishies but shorter ranged.

Having ranged damage dealers that outrange him, together with enough CC to lock him down (standard counter to any ranged dps champ).

I was malzaar ulted him with all my voidlings and my visions, with ashe and lux there too, he then kills us all

How fed was he? 16/3 or something? Did anyone apply Grevious Wounds to him? (How much Lifesteal did he have?) Did Lux miss the snare? the Ult? What about Ashe ult? Did the 3 of you get Q+R comboed? Positioning matters! Stay spread out, avoid being near walls v him!

pretty fed, no lifesteal, ashe ult missed ( don't ask she missed all the ults even though i ulted them still...) and lux ulted after snare

So did the ashe just have shit items/was shutdown as hell? Or did she panic and not actually DPS the Graves? Did the lux have like no AP or something? Or was Graves actually building tanky and hence had only modest dps. How about your itemization?

still fairly early on i had eye, lux had morello, and ashe had reaver, he had warrior and zeal

Did you guys come at him simultaneously? or staggered? Did try to kite out of melee range of him (enough the outer pellets of his shotgun would miss you)?

It was in bot lane by krugs, i was to the right of him when i ulted, he autos me 3 times and i die. 1 to break my shield and then resets, then q's ults lux and ashe and kills them. pretty sure they were together but they were hugging turret

If he's a good Graves player, you're gonna have a hard time no matter what. Wait for him to make a mistake and capitalize on it. Try to lock him down while he's flashing his mastery at you.
