Splashes for Syndra and Sion would be phenomenal. But I added Rammus because I think he could use an epic skin. His Ulti could radiate like a black hole. His Q could turn him into a spiraling dark star, and his W could look something like Leona's.

I could go for a Dark Star Syndra, but they'd have to do an amazing job in making her particles and new look completely different from the base.
for dark star is a no-brainer
There are alot of champions that would look good with a dark star skin but I think my favoritr concept is Dark Star

I could imagine Sion and Syndra being on the Dark star tier but Rammus? Eh...
Technically these champs could fit Dark Star better:

and maybe a few others. Rammus would only fit as the 'looks like a joke but hits like rambo' sort of episode monster if they were to have it done as a TV series, though technically i would also account for Super Galaxy Kindred, Fizz and Shyvana too as being the 3 ranger squad in the same universe gag.
P.S. before you mention Rumble, i'd probably put him as the 6th ranger sort of 'returnee' or just plain mentor with the out of date gear gag and they could just throw in 2 other champions to fit the remaining Super Galaxy role if they ever expand on it, 
and 
i could imagine fitting in (Zyra using bio-mechanical plants in place of her regular plants, with Quinn and Valor fitting the same niche gag as Fizz has with his Shark, Kindred being Lamb and Wolf with Shyvana having her Dragon form on her side of the spectrum).
