Anyone noticed we lack a Superhero champion?

Closest thing we have character-wise is Galio.

By Superhero I mean a champion who starts off as a normal guy/gal but later there's some accident that gave him/her superhuman powers, and uses them for good.

Also, this kind of champion is perfect for a truly positive personality, regardless of their personal problems (some Spiderman-like attitude), which we noticeably don't have in league.

They could make them from Piltover or Zaun, or even Ionia if their powers come from magic. Or, if they want to really get creative, they could make him/her Noxian to have a truly "good" Noxian champion for a change.

Catch: he can only be a super hero for 3 hours at a time, then he just turns back into a normal guy ;)

Zac and Gallo fit the super hero attitude and I can't say that we are lacking truly positive personalities.

Zac is truly positive, even if his "parents" got killed. Lux is truly positive, even if she is a mage, which are hunted in her country. Taliyah is truly positive.

Zac is pretty much a hero. He was supposed to be a weapon (ZaunAmorpheousCombatant) but decided to fight for the good after beeing raised by beloving parents.

Are you taking gameplay wise? Lore wise I'm pretty sure there are a some champions that did not start out with any powers. Janna for example was just a girl who became a very powerful wind mage.

wouldn't TwistedFate and Taric both qualify under your description?

sure, TF isn't exactly a hero, but he fits your description of acquiring powers to a T. Taric is not a perfect match, but much more "good"

honestly, Galio is a giant stature. How did he "start out as a normal guy"? (I'm assuming you're talking about lore, and not gameplay)

also (unless they changed the lore) Riven is the "good Noxian champion". she was the poster-child of what all noxians should be. And NOW, despite realizing how evil they really are, she continues to represent herself as a Noxian. She tries to represent what Noxus SHOULD be, rather than what it is.
