Just before Akali was released, I posted this:
In that post, I expressed my disagreements with Akali's design in a less than elegant way. However, I must apogize now for that. After playing a few matches as her and against her, I have to say that she feels like CertainlyT's least cancerous design yet. Congratulations to him and all Akali mains!
Yeah she presses W and zones your entire backline. Very well designed.
I don't know if she's good, I don't know if she's bad, but Shroud is one of the least fun abilities to deal with in the game. I don't even care about dropping Tower aggro, but being able to nullify anything that isn't a skillshot for such a long duration is so f***ing obnoxious.
Example: Playing Ahri against her. She used her shroud as my charm was about to hit her. My Q was able to hit her, but my W and R couldn't deal any damage to her. That's bull. It feels like she was made for all the whiny assassin mains who got annoyed by champs like Lulu and Alistar having point and click CC. Well, now you can't be clicked on?
Shroud is actually on the same level as Wind Wall when it comes to being unfun to deal with, but the rest of Akali's kit is less annoying than Yasuo's.
ya she feels very balanced too me, i think certainlyT should just stick to VGUs because apparently hes good at that
I feel Akali is on the brink of being broken. She can be counterplayed at times (even though her cloud is sorta broken), and the energy cost on her q definitely prevents her from being extremely broken. Btw, I'm pretty sure tank Akali (ex. Titanic Hydra, Steraks) is better than ap.
New Akali isn't cancer? I literally stopped playing the game because of her.
Wait for the buffs she will get and then you will change your mind.
Akali is still easy for those who mains her, but hard for new players.
Simple as that.
I like her rework, it seems really fun to play even when people tryhard with it.

Lmao, the champion is freaking cancer with her shroud. NOTHING has changed. Luckily she's banned in every game.
I think they ought to tone down her q damage a bit but other than that i agree, ult dashes are skillshot, and she has to hit a skillshot for non ult mobility which is telegraphed.
