Hamelin more or less looks like that. His weapon is a long staff which can be used as pipe. His main role is tank, and the secondary is assassin. Although, the assassin+tank looks incredibly unfair, but Hamelin is countered hard by mage, adc, and other assassin. However he has good times fighting against fighter, bruiser, and tanks.

Lore

The lost town.A town of nowhere to be found. Prceived as not less than a fairy tale. It's said that the lost town was a never ending utopia. With ever lasting spring. Where the wind breeze in the day, and magic rose in the night. It had the most modern technology of magic. Legend says that the inhabitants are geniuses, the race that have the highest intelligent one can imagine. There were only few of them. But one day they disappeared.

Theory says that it was because of natural causes such as tsunami, that annihilated the whole race and destroyed the whole city. Other theory says that it was because an accident in their lab. Though many theories, none of them taken as a serious thing by people.

Popular theory says that there was a magician from the inhabitant of the lost town. He connected himself with darkness, acquiring power of stealing one's soul. And capable of destroying even the biggest juggernaut. There's no evidence of this theory, or no one live long enough to become the witness that proves this theory.

The magician was named Hamelin. Its namesake is taken from a town in a fantasy world from a fiction written by a popular writer of runeterra. In his book, he said that there's a town in a small planet called earth, there was a similar accident, or incident, happened. One that demolish living thing, The piper that stole one's soul

Stats

HP : 10/10 HP/lvl : 10/10 HP/5 : 3/10 Armor: 6/10 Armor/level: 3/10 Magic Resist: 5/10 AD : 8/10 AD/level : 2/10 Attack speed : 4/10 Mana : 6/10 Mana/level : 5/10 Mana/5 : 7/10 movement speed : 5/10 Range: melee

SkillSet Note : Numbers are meant to give clearer insight of what skill excel at what. It's far from perfect in balance perspective. And I didn't intend to think much about math, but feedback about numbers are still welcomed.

Passive: Pied Play : Hamelin takes 40% more damage from enemy. But he apply 60% of the attacker's bonus armor or bonus magic resist as his hown. True damage is not affected by this skill

Song of the Night : Every 3 minutes, the map will be darkened for 3 minutes as if the night come. All units gains 25% vision reduction. Hamelin's basic attack will deal 30% of target's bonus armour as magic damage and heals for the same amount.

First Skill: Soul Shocker Hamelin smash his staff to the ground, which creates shockwave that deals 10/20/30/40/50 + (0.5 AP) magic damage in a medium area. if the enemy has more max hp than Hamelin, then deals extra magic damage equal to 10/12/14/16/18 + (0.1 AP) % of the different between enemy's max health with Hamelin's

When Song of the Night active : the shockwave will push out the enemy's soul. Hamelin can pick up the soul to heal himself by 12% of enemy's current health. The owner of the soul can pick up the soul to prevent hamelin doing so. The soul will be destroyed if not picked after 6 seconds

Second Skill: Soul of the Lost Child Passive : When Song of the Night active. every 16 seconds, a soul will appear in a random location on the map. The soul will stand still, unless a champion (ally or enemy) go near it, it will follow the champion. if the champion teleport / recall the soul will stand still again. Enemy can destroy this soul by attacking it four times.

Active : Hamelin play a song that will heard by everyone in 1200/1600/2000/2400/2800 radius. All souls that hear this song will move swiftly to Hamelin. If it pass through enemy, it will deal 20/40/60/80/100 + (0.1 AP) magic damage. Consecutive hit deals only 33% of damage. If the enemy have higher max hp than hamelin, consecutive hit will deal full damage, and reduce enemy's bonus magic resist by 15% (stack up to 4) for 1.5 seconds. Soul is destroyed after reaching Hamelin.

Thrid Skill: Soul Consume Hamelin will leash out a ghostly root forward. If it hits an enemy, the root will pull the enemy's soul towards Hamelin so he can consume it. Stealing 10/12/14/16/18 + (1 per 150 AP) % of current health as magic damage.

Ultimate: Replay Whenever this skill in not on cooldown, this skill will change as Hamelin consume a soul with Soul Consume or Soul Shocker. This skill willl imitate the enemy's ultimate skill. For the next 8 seconds, Hamelin can cast this skill to use the imitated skill, dealing 150/200/250 + (0.25 AP) as magic damage. 67% less effective for AoE. 10% more effective for DoT. 50% less duration for CC.

if the owner of the skill hit by the imitated skill, deals additional magic damage to the owner, equal to 100% of their bonus armor and bonus magic resist.

Overview

Stats His HP is big. This is his only source of tankiness. Since his armor is crap. His base hp will be bigger than squishy champions, but will not as big as tanks with defensive build. This way he can manage his full power. You won't want to build tank for him, since it's counterproductive.

Passive : This is what make and destroy Hamelin. 40% increased damage means he is countered hard by damage dealers. His HP may high, but with that amplification, he will be as tanky as squishy. Buuut he apply 60% of bonus armor/MR of the attacker, which means you counter bruiser/fighter/tank. They won't even make a scratch of you! And His second passive is make the rift darkened. Pretty straightforward.

Q : Good waveclear. I may pick him in jungle with this skill. This skill's damage is crap, unless the enemy is tankier than you. And in the night, it have unique features which will really help your ult.

W : This skill is more night oriented. Pretty clear imo

E : Imagine it as illaoi's E. It pull a spirit. But Hamelin consume the soul. Damaging and heal him.

R : Imitate skill !! We don't have a skill like this in the rift yet. And what I love about this skill, is to imitate the skill, you have to E, or Q ( in the night), instead of just click and imitate. This way it creates more counterplay but still as satisfying. It also have fixed damage so you can't deal wtf damage when imitating veigar's ult or other burst champion.

in general, Hamelin is a tank eater. He wreck everyone with high armor, MR, and HP. He heals for a large amount if he can hit his skill to the enemy tanks. However, Hamelin is bad against squishy bursty champion. He has no damage against them, and has no tankiness either. Hamelin is a strange champion, normal champion deals more damage to squishy, and avoid tanks, but Hamelin breaks from the norm of normal champion

Build Example:

item 3152 item 3158 item 1402 item 3100 item 3089 item 3065

I hate to be a downer, but this guy's kit is so bizzare and toxic that, in this state, he would never be implemented in the game. His Q is useless against everyone but Dr. Mundo, his W dosent seem to have any practical uses, and his E, the wording is poor, clarify. Also, his ult is pretty broken, imagine getting to imitate a Vel'Koz ult or a Nasus Q and stack as much as him.........it doesn't even fit his kit anyhow.

I don't think you understand how much 40% permanent damage amplification is. You can't trade anyone. A Janna would kill you. And imagine if a Vlad ulted you or a Swain used his E, or if Tahm Kench ate you (he'd be doing like 45% of your max health). You also made a kit where he has like a 1 second window of power if he has a bunch of souls in one area and an enemy champion next to them, which would never happen, and that whole 'gain enemy's resistances' thing and the Taric passive in it too- the fuck? Riot is a strong company because it makes cool champions that stick to a theme. Imagine if Braum was going around with a passive that said he gets free crit as a support or Zed's ult was Shen's - abilities are based on what you'd expect from a champion. Vlad can heal himself, Tahm can eat people, Jinx can blow things up - this champion seems to me to be a poor amalgamation of many factors that are either broken, useless, or don't even make sense.

Also, impossible to be a tank/assassin at the same time. He's a fighter then, or a mage.
