New Season - How will the placement games work? (IDEA)

Hey folks!

I was just going through a rough game in Elo Hell and I was wondering if the new season would be able to offer real placement games that really place you where you belong. There's obviously an issue when you check out how many players are in Bronze (Over 50% I think?). It would be really sweet if RIOT could make it a little bit more even with Silver because, let's be honest, Silver is just like Bronze right now and it doesn't make any sense... It would clean up the divisions of smurfs (from being in Bronze, Silver or Gold).

My idea was basically to base your placement games on the ones you did in the season before. If you had, let's say, 5/10 wins and got Bronze and next season you get 7/10 wins, you should get Silver. Of course, there would be other factors (number of kills, deaths, etc.), and it would just be more motivating to see that the game actually takes in consideration if you improved or not.
