Yeah, there are games of Challenger vs. Challenger, but Diamonds are their general laning opposants. If you don't believe me, count the amount of adc in challenger and you'll get your answer...

when Vayne reaches late you need so much resources to shut her when she or her team don't make a fatal mistake. Vayne in late is no fun thing to deal with. Especially when she has some kind of Heal/Shield Support which is very likely in current META, it gets impossible to do anything vs. her.
